Einfach atemberaubend!

Writing a streichhtrio (string trio) is especially touchy, since the number of voices available is limited. The two great masterpieces of the genre are probably those of Mozart and Schoenberg. Here, Krenek shows us its virtuosity in contrapunctal art, and uses the language that he forged step by step with a decisive turn around the middle of the 30's, when he adopted the schoenbergian dodecaphonic serial language with specificities of his own.

Beehoven wrote his string trios in the beginning od his so-called "first manner". Of course it is Beethoven, but he was still under the influence of Haydn. I do not think that the string trios of Beethoven are better than that of Mozart. Note that there is no string trio of the "second" or "third mannaer".

No, I do not think that the trios of the young Beethoven are better than thhat id the mature Mozrt. Compare the three-parts writing.
