  • This is one of my favorite modifications for improving midline crossbody loading! Having a hand free to feel the midline and help give feedback to encourage more abdominal recruitment can directly affect how the core is loading and the amount of distortion in the linea alba. Even if you’re not concerned about how your midline is loading, give it a try with your clients this week and see if they can feel their abs more with a better setup for the pec major to work. I find that more core control here helps with decreasing neck tension as well!
