I have a Geeetech A10M, I really love it and have upgraded the bed like you said you might. I use a bed levelling sensor on it as well and I have a dual-nozzle ready to attach on so I can print in two separate materials via direct drive. Although I don't need this review to see if I want to buy one, I enjoyed the analysis and I can say that, having a lot of experience with this printer, I would highly recommend it as I find it reliable, easy to use, and a generally excellent printer. Thanks Drac!
I think Drac should make an Elite 2.0 Stryfe! It would be funny to have an elite 2.0 blaster that delivers the hits! It would be like the modulus and battlecammo Stryfe! The only thing that wouldn’t be elite 2.0 about it would be the quality, performance, and screws, and a beautiful Nyx cage in it!
As someone who has a A10M I can tell you that unless you're really into multi-material printing this isn't the machine to get. The hot-end piece is A consumable and they break on me about every 6 months. It's a $27 replacement and it's pretty easy if you know what you're doing but it's generally not worth the work when you can get an ender3 for much less.
This looks awesome. Not everyone can afford to drop so much money on a printer. The face looks amazing. Can't wait to see what people come up with using this feature.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
The code is actually called word address format. G code is a short hand based on the motion word G. The address is the 00-01-03-04 are types of motion.
@@sempre8644 No, I got a flash forge adventure. My parents are so nice. It's a little unfortunate that the print bed is so small, but it's a super nice little printer to learn on. If I get another one, I'm starting to be conflicted between this A10M and a CR10. So many choices, so little money.
Hey drac, I really want to mod my rapidstrike but.... I’m very intimidated, by which parts to buy circuits, flywheels, motors, switches and uuuuugh!! I have only modded one gun before the rival Kronos. So if you have any advice for me that would be super cool. Thanks love your vids.
Meh. I have a decent sized print farm for an average person. 6 fdm printers. 2 Deltas and 4 XYZ (3 of which are Ender3) . I have rarely ever needed the ability to print two colors at once. This is a very niche device. Personally I would buy an Ender3 and spend the extra savings on filament and a metal extruder.
Damn, strangers from Alibaba just sending you free 3D printers huh? Lucky. Can it really not take blend commands in Gcode? Marlin specifically reserves code M165 for that... Small correction: The printer geometry with an X/Z gantry over a build plate that moves on the Y axis is called "Mendel", after the original RepRap design. Marlin is the FOS firmware project that drives most printers.
On the subject of 3d printing, does anyone here know the best way to get a huge glob of plastic out of a nozzle? I had a nasty jam that was entirely my fault for failing to notice just how bad my bed level was. I managed to get the rest of the filament out and swap the nozzle without destroying the thermistor. What do I do with the jammed nozzle? thanks in advance.
I need to get one of these printers, I can print myself a multi coloured Caliburn or maybe a desert pigeon...

Not to mention that this is literally just the frame of an ender 3 with a double extruder.
Seriously, thank you for this review. It’s not Nerf, but can definitely be foam blaster related.

Wow, if I don't get an ender 3 for Christmas, I'm buying myself this!
I think that ender 3 is better but ye this is cool as heck. Did you get one for christmas?

@@hyperjohn6627 not bad! I am also thinking about ender 3 pro or A10M.
Just got my ender 3 v2 and that looks extremely similar just a double filament. Two days of tweaking and printing and I think I have mine dialed in
I debated really hard on getting one of these, but ultimately went with the ender 5.

Throw it away, nozzles in printing are consumable and dont last that long.
