This video compilation is the first part of a 2 part series that covers my journey from Pune to Delhi. I was traveling on the Pune Hazrat Nizamuddin AC Duronto Express that was hauled by a "MEGA OFF-LINK" LGD WAP7!!!
PART 1 covers the initial leg of the journey with the train's coupling with the locomotive and subsequent departure from Pune Junction and ends with the train's skip of Vishwamitri Junction!!!

No Surat halt ? This train has Surat halt right ?
Yes. It does halt at Surat!
I was resting at the time so that's why I missed recording the arrival & departure at Surat!
A train cannot skip a scheduled halt, and if it does, there are a set of repurcussions that happen, with the LP, ALP, Guard, SM, ASM etc. Lonavala is not a scheduled halt. Its just a technical halt, where a fresh CO (for Mumbai div) is handed over to the crew. Lonavala is the boundary station between Mumbai and Pune divisions.
Hey the train got a halt at Surat how did it skipped? Is it an old video?
Yes. It was shot last year.

How was the quality of food from pantry ?
The food in this train is taken from local vendors at Pune (lunch) & Vadodara (dinner).
Pantry car only serves the food.
How could this train skipped Lonavala station,when it was supposed to be a scheduled halt ?
Even I was surprised but now days most long distance trains do not sop at Lonavla while going to Karjat.

What is the max.& avg.speed of this train ?
Average speed is 77 kmph & top speed is 130 kmph
I feel like this train should be made daily and two more trains (possibly an AC sleeper Vande Bharat and a regular superfast train) should be introduced to run between Pune and Delhi on the same route (via Vasai Road)

How it was late arrival at Vasai Rd.Stn.@ 2.27 p.m. as the train departed Pune @ 11.10 a.m. ? So it took 3.17 hour to arrive at Vasai Rd.Stn.Even the fastest train,Deccan Queen takes 3.40 hours for it's Pune - Mumbai journey.
There were a few delays in between due to signals!
