This game is hard to understand when you listen to an overview of the rules but after a few rounds you realize what a brilliant design it is. Kudos to the creators.
3 min in i am already lost. ugh. It started when he mentioned npcs" and only gave them green tokens, now Im wondering what the jam tokens he is putting down means. oh well!
As well, if you think you know what all your letters are before the end of the game, you can pick up a card from the deck to use as a bonus letter, and if you guess it right, you get to keep it and can use it in your final reveal (as long as the word is spelled correctly, it doesn't have to be the original word given to you).
Learned this from Paul Grogan of Gaming Rules at Gen Con and instantly bought it afterward. I especially appreciate how making any word at the end still counts; I thought my word was “drops” when it was really “trips.” Somehow, even accidentally making a word is still satisfying!
I usually love word games but I think this one is very convoluted (and hard). Only played it once with 6 letter words, which apparently is more difficult? Though the hardest part was to make (especially long) words during the game, using specific letters, that are helpful to as many as possible. Anyway will try again.
What's the incentive to give good clues? Or any clues at all? Why not just let the other players give you clues the whole time and selfishly be the only player to get the word correct at the end?
I played this game at game convent few times & it's amazing, if you're a huge fan of Decrypto, Codenames or Scrabble this is your next game, much more fun than 'Just One' which is boring AF after few rounds

or it could be Lone... It is fun when someone is blind to a possibility until later in the round and they hope for the best
Convoluted yet intriguing. Definitely a refreshing addition to an oversaturated genre.

A play time of exactly 46 minutes!?
Yes, after that the game spontaneously combusts
Played this at UKGE and it was the game of the con. I love games like Decrypto and Codenames, love coops and adore Hanabi. Cannot wait to get this.
The cover did sell me the game, granted it was 1 euro in a thrift shop helped.
I won this at UKGE and my pic is on the bgg page :)
I don't get the point of the flower setup card
It's a timer
Did you forget about trapwords??

Maybe not play your first game on "hard" difficulty setting then? :P
I’m still a little confused why the two players had clues in front of them right from the start

Thanks, Tom. I keep, looking for word games for my wife that aren’t scrabble or boggle. This looks like some she would like.
Wish there was a comment on 2 player. Codenames is also 2 player but not a great experience.
have a look at codenames duet for 2 player
Looks neat! Gonna wait for it to come out in Spanish.

I love Scrabble but this game just confuses the hell out of me.
I like word games but this one just seems strange and unappealing to me.
