In Today's video we are flying in the 500e equipped with the Wilson Construction Livery. Located in Shrimp Bay, Alaska,
I custom made this scenery based off an operation Wilson construction completed in real life. The conservative requirements in the Tongass Region state no roads are to be made or land to be disturbed, making this Operation challenging by boating in supplies and equipment and having offshore barges as landing pads for Helos and platforms for fuel & equipment.
This operation was fundamental when lake swan dam wasn’t keeping up with Ketchikan's winter energy demand. So a 57 mile length 243 individual pole high tension Transmission line from Lake Tyee PowerStation to Swan lake was to be constructed. And shrimp bay was the operation HQ.
We are going to drop off a crewman who is sitting on the left side of the work bench to a power pole site location. We will then come back and pick up another crewman who will be dropped off further to another site location where a future power pole will be erected.

The Guy sitting on the side of the helicopter is apart of the MD 500 E By Cowansim. The rest is sdk scenery edit by me.

great video, thank you. My complaint is not you but that MSFS is so off with colours and over saturated and cartooney.
The rotor animation is completely wrong. Distracting enough that it’s not an enjoyable model unfortunately. It appears they tried to model it from video or still photos that can’t capture the true disk view. In the real thing you cannot see blade movement.
