CW wasn't my jam, but it was nice to hear Handler being genuinely happy to be playing. Could hear that smile at 6:50 c: Keep smiling out there, folks! *And drink water.* It's good for ye.
I'd say it wasn't underrated, just I feel like it was just a game that came out in a weird time considering how big Modern Warfare 2019 and Warzone 1 were doing.
@@jeremiahjimenez3299I thought the maps brought back the old round based feeling while still giving the option for the EE but not jamming it down your throat, If you want you’re totally free to just blast through rounds while continuing to buff your guns, I think they just needed more maps, but they gave up on the game way too fast
I loved it, honestly. Great campaign, fun multiplayer, zombies that focused on gameplay over plot/easter eggs (at least in Outbreak). My only real complaint is performance on PC was a little iffy, I'd get occasional stutters and lag spikes.
I'm an old school MW2 and MW3 fanboy. I also played a lot of Black Ops 1 and 2. Cold War was the first COD in a while that I actually liked. Idk why it got hate. The maps are fun and interesting. Everything including the maps, guns and movement feels like an arcade shooter like how COD is supposed to be. It felt like an actual new addition to COD. the new MW and MW2 are complete messes. You can't tell whether it's supposed to be an arcade shooter or semi-realistic. The snipers barely have bullet drop while an AR can make you feel like Michael J Fox. Half of the maps in the new MW2 are horrible but at least they don't feel like they're trying to be hyper-realistic like MW 2019, which also has horrible maps.
@@zombieblaster5754 I agree with the health bars As for the movement I like it, honestly I hate the tactical sprint that MW19 introduced… I feel it made that game and the ones that used it as well, too fast paced. I think it should be something only available in warzone because of the bigger map.
@@zombieblaster5754 I see why people prefer the movement in MW2019 but I felt like it was too loose. Honestly I prefer the movement in the new MW2 even though sometimes it fails you and you die for it. The health bars were weird but they leaned more in the arena style shooter direction and I think overall it worked. The new MWs lean more into the realistic direction and I just don't think most of the maps and gameplay support it. Overall I think it's kind of a mess. You never know when you're gonna get one shot by a shotgun from long range or get a hitmarker with a sniper from up close. Some guns don't feel realistic with recoil and then guns like the M4 have realistic kick
Tbt personally the SBMM wasn't nowhere strict as it was compared to mw2019 and mw2. Having the ninja perk being able to move around freely was a plus as well. Might just hop back on after seeing this
This game was solid, it’s just the damn ssbm :/ Some of the most satisfying kills in cod history for me. Seeing that red bar tik down is so addicting. Also loved the ak47 and the snipers were a great time.
To be fair on the comment of snipers being banned from comp, it was solely due to the lack of flinch. Once they added flinch, snipers pretty much get outclassed across the board IMO.
Some of the regular weapons were also pretty insane in this game, not just the snipers. Burst rifles were OP for a chunk of the games life. I think some of the pistols still are too.
Honestly, considering Black Ops 2 was one of my favorite and most nostalgic CODs, I feel that I would have enjoyed this game a lot more if it was just a bit more polished/less frustrating and if MW2019 hadn’t totally overshadowed this in my eyes. Love the gameplay as usual!
I think the only annoying part was the SBMM they used every few games. You’d dominate and feel good for a few games, then you’d get shut down bad for a streak
