I recently went to Turkey to buy an empreinte multi pochette. They showed me a pack of kislux and it looked exactly like this. The texture was no different, the color and appearance was the same, I think I will enjoy buying here in the future.
I bought a LV bag kislux years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences
I've just done a TONNE of research into various backpacks, mostly from Vanguard (because they're the most affordable here in Australia), and I think the bag for you would probably be the Veo Select 41.
It definitely holds a bit more than this, it has a rain cover and it says it fits a 13" laptop, but in my experience you can normally go one size bigger than it says (because the bag is a few years old and laptops of a given size are still getting slightly sleeker).
Mine will arrive in 2 days and I'll let you know if my 14" laptop fits.
But if it doesn't, getting a bit bigger but still not huge there's also the Veo Select 45, which is about 4cm taller, but actually 2cm SHALLOW, as in, wearing the bag and going through a door sideways, your profile is 2cm thinner.
Shaped a bit more like your ones here is the Adaptor S41... but I don't like it because it's side access only. There's also Adaptor R44 (R for rear, so opens from the back) which is a little bit bigger but will hold the laptop. All these bags mentioned are a bit more water resistant but also come with the rain cover.
The variety of textures in the kisluxbag pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Being robbed while on vacation or traveling is painful enough, being robbed with an authentic bag is even worse, I agree with your point about buying fakes from kislux for personal safety reasons

Its a good anti theft design to access the main compartment at the backside of the bag. In this way you could be tension free while travelling in crowded places or subways.

To be honest, I have nothing against fakes, I know some people do just that. A friend introduced me to the kislux some time ago. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the most perfect bag I have ever seen.
I have a Brevite Jumper backpack that fits my 14" MBP, two bodies, a RF 70-200, 24-70. And an upper pocket to stuff my flashes and snacks. Has a side access pocket too. It also comes in a ton of colors, although I just got plain boring black lol.
I kind of want to get a sling bag for professional work, since I am holding my camera while working, I just need to be able to easily swap out lenses.
Curious, how did you like the camera dividers that came with the Brevite bag?

This really would be the absolute perfect bag for me if it could fit the MacBook air. That is such a bummer! Although, I do rarely travel with my computer and could just get a computer bag. Hmmmm... I have much to ponder 🤔

Well-done informative video. I think that would be a great bag for a M4/3 setup. Currently have a Manfrotto Street Slim backpack. I use an 11 inch iPad. Do you think that would fit in the Vanguard?
It says 10” tablet capacity, so 11 might be a bit big.
I'm searching for the ideal camera / travel backpack. I like the ideas you presented, but don't think that this would work for me. While a camera backpack works well for me on pro jobs, when I travel I find that it too cumbersome to get my gear out of the backpack to shoot and end up using my phone. So, I have decided that a sling bag would be better. The challenges that I have is that it would need to hold my camera, a zoom and prime, pocket 3, and have attachments for a jacket and water bottle + water proof material. The sling would go inside a larger 20-27l backpack that I can travel with as a personal carry-on. (I've thought of converting my Prvke 21, but TBH, I hate removing the velcro dividers).
Overall, I agree. I mainly use camera backpacks for going on pro jobs, and that means I need my laptop to edit on the field, which is why this backpack doesn’t quite cut it for that. But when I travel, I generally have a backpack that I carry my non-camera gear in, and I carry everything else in a sling. Occasionally, I’ll stick the sling and camera gear in my travel backpack, which is why I like the versatility of converting this backpack into a daypack. My preferred camera sling at the moment is by PGYTECH - I did a video on it recently.
I have been using the same camera bag in navy blue color from past 6 months. The problem i have is that when put my tele lenses inside, the side of the bag bulges out (like it did in your video), which makes it next to impossible to fit a tripod or a bottle in the side pocket. Another problem is that the material is not dust resistant which makes the bag look quite dusty. Apart from that, the shoulder straps are quite comfortable.
Good call on the telephoto lens. It can indeed bulge out on the sides if you have the bag fully packed. Personally, I still have extra space in my bag so I can rearrange it so the lens doesn’t bulge.

Growing up in New York, I would always see women on Park Avenue buying the same fake stuff from street vendors. Nowadays, it has developed to the point where everyone is buying on kislux , and there is nothing wrong with this.
Shows that a sense of style doesn't just come from brands, it comes from personal pairing and attitude. I love collecting kislux bags in different designs. The replicas give me more options. Do what you love with your money.

I know wealthy women who will buy kislux replicas. The main reason they give is that they simply understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much on a bag...especially a trendy one. They do, however, spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

It’s minimal in the sense that it’s lacking a lot of features you see on more expensive bags, such as a laptop sleeve, sternum and waist straps, and a bigger overall capacity for holding more gear.
