Looks like you were above Orofino, you know how many people don't catch a steely on their first trip? Good job, congrats! Next time go to Red Shed for info.
Just came across your video! The first time i heard about Steelhead and Spey rods! Was in a video of the Red Shed! That's was around 2007 So far i haven't missed a trip every year! Unfortunately this coming fall! Won't happen! The last two fall seasons i haven't caught a Steelhead! So yeah!! You should get the most of your Steelhead experience Now that you can, before there's none of them!! Very sad situation for the Steelhead in Idaho and all over the pacific northwest!🥺
If you head over that direction again in the future, consider trying the S fork instead of the main river. The B run fish especially are a whole different level of Steelhead experience.
Very nice surrondings and film as usual. Watching it from France! Is that the Clearwater in ID? Fish the upper part for Cutthroat several time back in 1998 to 2008. Such a nice place. But never tried steelies ... Thanks for sharing your passion and films
clearwater steelie on the first run? tons of ppl swing their butt off and couldnt touch a fish. good job and not to diss your catch but clearwater has some monster b-runs
Really??? Just popped in the river you never fished and poked one with a 2 hander🙄😆👍🏼 I have hard time on the river I fish every fall 🤬…as Jesse Lee Peterson says….amazin
I love all your films. My favorite part: “I Got Lost in the Sauce”
Much appreciated! Getting lost in the sauce is what I love most about fly fishing lol
Nothing like catching a steelhead on the spey! What a great video. Looks like you two are having a blast out there. Love it!
