Describing himself as a product of his environment, Mandar attributes his love for reading to his upbringing in a scholarly family. He recounts how reading has enriched his life, enhancing his focus, patience, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills.
Mandar is an active member of the Readers’ Club at I²IT, where he engages with fellow students to discuss and recommend books across multiple languages. He highlights the club’s role in fostering a love for reading among students, promoting confidence and eloquence in interviews and public speaking.
Beyond his literary pursuits, Mandar is involved in cultural activities at I²IT, serving on the Kalankur committee and contributing as a playwright. His upcoming theatre production promises to showcase his creativity and storytelling prowess to the campus community.
Offering advice to incoming students, Mandar emphasizes the importance of developing soft skills through reading, asserting that a well-rounded education goes beyond technical proficiency to include personal growth and character development.
