Eberhard W. i Paul McC... niesamowite wrażenia emocjonalne... tylko w nocy... dzięki z link
Both of these Incredible Musicians have few peers on their respective Instruments! Weber is sounding particularly Playful at times on this! McCandless?!!! What can be said? I had the great Pleasure, and Honor to play and record with Paul in the late 80's for Windham Hill Records! Not only was he Beyond being Bad-Ass! - He was also a Gentleman, and Extremely patient with my Musical shortcomings! (I was, maybe - 26 at the time, and It was my compositions we were recording). I also was introduced to Eberhard Weber after a Jan Garbarek gig in San Francisco...a Gentle, Profoundly Deep and Humble Man, who was touring with his Painter Wife -Maja at the time. They stayed in touch through the mail. Just Amazing Beings we seldom see these days! Weber suffered a debilitating Stroke a few years ago. Send him Good Energy. - a link to my recording with McCandless: ua-cam.com/video/Qfw1agtiThs/v-deo.html
Thanks for your fascinating comments. I used to listen to Weber when I was a modern dancer back in the ‘80’s. This piece really takes me back to those days.
Een muzikale ruimtelijkheid, waar de kernen van de één en de ander toenadering zoeken en uiteindelijk samenkomen. Een spannend proces en mooi om naar te luisteren.
mr. eberhard weber let the bass talking like noone else!
mr. paul mccandless and his sax are more than unique too!
There are thousands of songs which I love dearly, but none so much as this.
6 Thumbs Down. What is wrong with some people. Beautiful Music! How could anyone gives this a thumbs down???
One of the best creative musicos ever exist, amazing sound an ideas the one and only Eberhard, and the super multi instrumentalist also incredible Paul McCandless. thanks both.
Bravi, Eberhard Weber and Paul McCandless;
bravo, Signore Simeoni.
thanks for sharing such gem.
I have been watching Weber on stage. It was like an aerial experience to me.great and fulfilling!
Like a ECM Record.😍🥰
Timeless...it transcends.
The original album: Pendulum, bass solo. Highly recommended!!!
Thank you for this. Music that heals.
Very nice
HOW BEAUTIFUL!
This tone inspired me when I performed improvisation with Bassoon !!
Many times, all day I played with them by CDs........!
Sublime.
OMG I have just been introduced to this about a week ago I'm in love with this sound the feel it's so soothing to my brain
Master piece,
Absolutely gorgeous.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last days xD

Thank mrs Simeone!
extraordinary.
This is a lost gem! Some of McCandless' best work has been with Weber, on things like Maurizius, etc. Thanks Lorenzo!
True
Check out Paul McCandless on the recordings of Fred Simon.
And his solo Premonitions cd
🐶 Love IT
Fascinating!
Increíblemente maravilloso!
Nice
Thank you!
McCandless sounds so much like Jan Garbarek on this. It`s beautiful.
❤
Perfekter Klang...
My goodness the sounds he coaxes out of a bass guitar. Transcendent.
Double bass not bass guitar.
it`s a selfmade electric double bass. but the sound is so unique it just can`t be compared to anything else.
A rose by any other name...
@@Skallalennart My understanding is that it was made by a luthier.
@@bucketofbarnacles In an interview by a german magazine Weber explains that it was build by a luthier following his instructions. So yes, he didn`t do it himself. But he designed it together with the luthier. The important point is the distinct sound though. It is incommensurable to anything else in that range of instruments and that`s what i was emphasizing in my previous comment. much love.
Just another masterpiece~~
top
Simplesmente genial!!!
I enjoy playing tabla on this tune.
"Headphone ear candy"
Son derece deneysel bir çalışma
some jaco like tricks after 4:45 up to 7min mark; otherwise, very weber. good duo improvisation. two jazz musicians who are also linked to classical music, aesthetically at least. i tend to think of them as fellow travellers with ralph towner. perhaps surprisingly McCandless did a record at this time that also featured lyle mays but it was more like a forgettable instrumental pop album. a world away from their 'later than evening' effort with weber.
What are the pictures on this video?
podłączyłem wzmacniacz z kolumnami , jest 3:42, już sąsiedzi mnie nie lubią
If anyone knows how I can buy a copy of this cd, let me know.

Is that a oboe?
Soprano sax.
No, I'm looking for the far far better bass solo version.
Why far, far better? This is brilliant as well, just different than solo bass. I believe a live solo version is available on Weber's latest ECM album, released last year, which is a solo concert in Avignon in the 90s after the release of the studio solo album Pendulum.
@@SWH2012 Thanks, I found the version I was looking for on Spotify. For some reason it's no longer on YT. It's probably a matter of taste, but I don't think I'm the only one who finds some of the wind instruments harsh and unpleasant to the ear. Perhaps if I could bare listening to it, I would appreciate the virtuosity.
