Happy that you got to interview one of your musical greats. I'm not into metal but it wasn't really about that. It was about (to me) the struggle of being a working musician and life. Thoroughly enjoyed it

Cool interview. A lot of guys will do an interview and even act somewhat into it if it helps them to promote their current projects or just for lack of any other publicity, but you can totally tell that's not the case here at all. Not often you get a guy like Dave who is genuinely happy to talk about what was a huge part of his life thus far. He's a pretty down to earth guy, and it doesn't even seem like an interview as much as just a conversation going on between a couple guys who mutually respect what the other is doing. He's not just throwing quick answers out there and just getting it over with as painlessly as possible. I get the sense that he enjoys all aspects of being a musician and not just the fun or glamorous parts. This is actually the second interview with him I've watched today from recently, and I'm enjoying it just as much as the first, if not maybe a bit more honestly. It's not often you see an interview this long that's not being dragged out on purpose, but just flowing at a nice pace and staying on subject the entire time. Well done, on both of you guys. I enjoyed watching this while I was cleaning my guitars up and getting my gear all looked over and cleaned up. I look forward to seeing what Dave puts out from here on out. Always loved hearing his bass shining through on all the Megadeth tracks instead of just kind of lingering in the background like other bands Ive listened to. Good to see being done with Megadeth was only the beginning of a new chapter in his life and nothing more. Life's too short to spend too much time thinking about those things. A lesson Dave Mustaine unfortunately took a long time to wrap his head around. Sometimes a situation like that is the push we need to do something we may not otherwise had set into motion.

I’m sorry for the Covid diagnosis I hope you get well soon🙏Right after Covid I met Dave ellefson and dDrewFortier in Fort Wayne Indiana at the Wayne convention center it was a horror con convention they both were absolutely phenomenal gentlemen and they were great people I think Dave is a phenomenal bass player I think he’s underrated if you listen to some of the lucid stuff you can see that Dave is well rounded on the bass but his partner in crime in the lucid Drew is very talented his self I probably will be at the concert for kings of Thrash in joliet Illinois at the Forge ❤️

Does that mean the rest of it was good? No offense but your deadlift sucks, you really need to work your posterior chain and maybe look into conjugate training. Before you reply, you can see my deadlift in this video (in my late 40's too) ua-cam.com/video/AZdKbxJVdAE/v-deo.htmlsi=ojU5nz8EjCICw_0q
