@@mikecooper4916 I did study voice classically but that didn't help me here. I was singing this stuff in high school- it was actually the other way around (could belt out high opera notes because of all the zeppelin). I was trained in classical piano and taught myself guitar and bass.

@@FridayNightLullaby Wow, that's just amazing. I always wished I could sing. When I was about 21, I met a friend that played various instruments and had access to a studio. I could play piano, mostly Elton John stuff etc. So we started playing a song, he was on drums, I started singing...he stopped , got up, came over , took my mic and swung it back saying, " Just play the piano. I'll do the singing." Lol I was crushed and devastated! That was my one and only attempt at real singing. So, needless to say, I admire anyone who can sing.
