Rich has really taken these pods to the next level, brilliant interviewing techniques to get all the tiny bits of information out of the anglers, my inner geek just loves it!! ❤️👏🏽
I don’t understand why people are moaning about story’s from Yateley and Burghfield etc it’s carp fishing history from another anglers perspective. It’s like moaning about hearing stories from WW1 and 2. Top listen and brilliant podcast.
I was fishing the split lake on the night he caught arfur & remember the weather being horrific & his alarms going off all night. Had no idea he’d caught it until the work party that morning. Not many anglers fishing the split that year as there had been the fish kill in the spring & everyone had assumed they were all dead.
I love to listen to the pod casts but I'm starting to struggle with the yately, dinton, burfield, engelfield story. Maybe a change up like a q and a or maybe branch out to the occasional different species pod. Please don't take this as a criticism just an observation/suggestion.
@@jaheighes5044 like the beast of Brasenose for example? Or the other big stock fish that people are fishing for now that’s completely diluting out the big carp scene? I’d rather hear about blood sweat and tears on the countries most demanding lakes over “I got there in my big gravel swim, spombed out my mix that I saw on UA-cam then waded through carp that all look the same until Daddy pig (which also looked the same) came along”
@@terryburn4937 I'm not suggesting that. I have never fished the likes of linear or fallows etc and have no interest in that style of fishing. I prefer the small canals and rivers. I'm only suggesting a change. Blood sweat and tears have a word it's only fishing it's about enjoyment it's supposed to be fun!
Great one !!!
I look forward to this every fortnight brilliant

Ten minutes in can tell I like this fella a Lot , no bullshit , brilliant so far ❤
So you left the hook in until you made a phone call & waited for a mate to arrive who then took the hook out of its mouth.....?
Love you rich but I miss Simon
Yet another boring story about a repeatedly caught fish made to sound like some kind of superhuman catch
is it me or are these podcasts tanking now
There is a scam account claiming You have won rods in a give away and tackle don't answer it.
