Welcome back! The worst time for a breakdown is right now. Fall is approaching fast here in Ohio. I have a lot to get down be in a short period of time.

Don't you just love the look of a new alternator mounted on an engine. ha Overheating will be a good winter project. I would definitely flush the cooling system first. 👍👍👍

Problem may not be that the engine is actually overheating, check the voltage stabilizer, if its bad guages won't work properly
You might just be correct because my fuel gauge works backwards. The motor does blow fluid out the over flow though.
I have 1988 Ford 6610 and I have had some overheating issues. Check the intake filters and the screen between the intake and radiator. Common problem

It's a bitch to get to the air filters and screen if you have a loader on the tractor witch you have. Good luck.
