- hey guys! as requested, here is my online contemporary dance class (tutorial) for small spaces/quarantine! I was surprised how many people wanted to see this video so I hope you enjoy. The choreography is designed to fit most smaller spaces and can be tweaked for all levels. PLEASE LEARN THE COMBO! POST IT! and share with me! that would be so rad!!! let me know if you more home dancing videos like these.This was so fun to film and edit (even though it took days haha). I love how you didn’t add loads of super complicated moves that only trained dancers would be able to do , so thank you so much for that deck gonna give this a try!

THANK YOU Ava this is exactly what I wanted and needed. I am 39 and stopped taking dance classes and performing in my 20's. I tried a modern dance class in my early 30's but the challenge is, there's not enough interest to have different classes for different levels so it was too slow for me which was boring and not a good workout. I turned to Zumba which is fun and is a great workout but lacks emotion! I had an intense hankering to learn a combo like this so I turned to UA-cam and here you are in all your glory. I have the first part down, so every day after my yoga warm-up I set the timer for 30 minutes, start it at 4:13, do the routine a few times until I can't breathe lol, then learn the next step while my heart rate goes down, then start it at 4:13 and repeat until I get a solid 30 minutes of cardio while FEELING all the feels. My body just loves to move this way. I absolutely love it, beautiful work girl. And on a side note to all you young ones, embrace that young body of yours! I'm in awe of how much more difficult this is at my age. It will take me a hot minute to learn the whole thing but the point for me is to get in a good workout doing something I love. So thanks again Ava!

Just finished learning it:) I was wondering if next time you could take the steps a bit more slowly when teaching them, and repeat them a few more times? i found myself re-watching you teaching the different parts many times, and watching them in slo-mo, so I think it would be nice to have them a bit more in detail:))

If you don’t have certain things you can’t do in other videos in dance or this one I recommend watching videos with stretches you can do to get that skill or just because you said you have never taken dance before you should stretch first so you don’t pull something or hurt yourself❤️

Thank you so much for this video. I have not had dance for a few weeks so this really made me happy and I enjoyed learning it very much. I changed parts of the dance because I mainly do acro and am less experienced in contemporary, but overall your choreography was amazing and your teaching was good. I would recommend going slower on some of the harder/faster parts of the dance because I found I had to slow the video down at some points. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this combo, I have an acceptable flexiblity, unfortunately not an elastic girl, so I think it has the perfect combination of moves as it's not that complicated. I'll start learning it today but I think I'll suck at the turn part.
