This is a really great package but the price points are just absolutely ridiculous. I have plenty of Snap On tools, and they’re wonderful but come on guys, each kit is 3k too high and even at that they would be stupid money.
How much time does it take to make for yourself? Literally days. Source a box. Source tools. Decide configuration. Source foam. Cut foam. Fine tune foam because you aren't experienced. Also , aircraft students get over half off. It's not as bad as you think for price. A new aircraft mechanic would spend a week of his life choosing, and putting the kit together, and paying money for each component.
Definetly not for the individual investment. Snap on tools are nice but in todays market they need to be more competative with prices.
How many organs will I have to sell for one kit?
They range from 10-13k looks like
Mine always came in sheet metal boxes with cut outs. Then they got slung across the flightline if I lost a 9/16 in my pocket.
