Interesting video - I follow this channel regularly! Thank you for also talking about the difference between Metabo and Metabo HPT... maybe it would be interesting for someone to have more information about the CAS system... in Europe it is a little better known. And since I'm on this system too...I already have 16 machines with CAS...the presentation of the Hikoki/MateboHPT belt sander is interesting to me as well. Otherwise, I am of the opinion that the best mains voltage belt sanders are those from Makita... I even bought an old, slightly used and working 9924NB for €30, and I will restore it so that it will work for many years... But this "Hikoki" is interesting to me, because it is possible that as a "machine of lower importance" it will also be presented under the Metabo brand... as it also happened with plunge saws, blowers, etc... of course, the main orientation of Metabo is cordless drills, angle grinders, drills, hammer drills, etc.

"There is no limits on the amps your battery can put out" Couldn't be more wrong. There IS a limit from a) the cells, b) the board in the battery, c) and most importantly, from the pins that connect the battery and tool. The pins are a very strict bottleneck actually.
You didn't understand what I meant. The power coming from your wall is fixed at 10Amps, 15Amps etc, depending on where you live. Whereas batteries can keep on advancing. There is no limit to what they can do. Yes each component has limits, but they can, and are, forever being tweaked. The HM004G has a continuous rating imput of 4400w. I can only get 2400w from a wall socket. The Amp ratings for battery cells keeps on increasing, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The amps at your wall remain the same.
I have to agree with the hikoki ac adapter. Its an absolute piece of shit. Its easier to use a heap of batteries than use the adapter as it overheats and shuts down after 5 mins of use.
Not our experience We have 3 of them One of the early ones does trigger the fan a lot while the others go for a good chunk of time without fan turning on and only had 1 of them cut out once We have used grinders for long runs, table saws for cuts in 4x4 and thicker without cutting out, SDS Max rotaries for extended runs chipping out concrete and others Maybe u have an earlier model Saved gobs and gobs of battery life and added a lot of cutting,.grinding, chipping capacity than any battery only system
