I love grace's nursery so much. Also, i understand cutting back on your main channel, but im so happy youre still vlogging. Maybe its the millenial in me, but i prefer longer form content. I love listening while im tinkering away doing other things.
Unfortunately, there are probably more and they can destroy a plant in just a few days. Since they are green, they blend in with the stem. You can use black light at night to more easily find these creatures. I had about a dozen in 2 plants. You should read about them. They will probably be back.
Your Alaska vlogs were simply just the best. Love all of your content but I could tell how happy it made you to be there. It will be so fun to plan and look forward to future trips❤️
If you enjoyed Alaska you might LOVE Vancouver Island in Canada, specifically a place called Tofino! West Coast Rain Forest Island Vibes & epic beaches that you can surf - hiking, whale watching, hot springs, wild raw nature, wonderful dining. My happy place!! If you love the outdoors it is one to consider adding to your bucket list.
I did find your channel thanks to your wedding planning videos... and I just got married a few weeks ago. Now I find myself rewatching your TTC videos-- the good and the difficult.
You seemed so genuinely happy in Alaska. It’s incredible how we can feel more like ourselves in certain environments. I’ve only been to anchorage once to visit my sister for Christmas- the winter is brutal but I’ve heard the summer is absolutely magical!!
In my parents garden there is a plum tree, which is standing there for years. Last year it got infested with lice and other insects. We never had this problem before. My dad found a suprisingly good trick, which was; halfed raw onions soaked in water. He let the onions soak overnight and sprayed the "onionwater" over the tree. It really worked and it did not change the flavour of the plums. Maybe it will also work for your plants.
As a librarian, I love seeing you gush about the library! 🥰 I wonder if they had done a storytime or something and that's why there were so many kiddos.
Love your videos! Have a tip for your gardening! I noticed you watering the tomatoes and were watering them pretty high and getting water on the leaves. Tomato plants are prone to getting fungal diseases etc and getting water on the leaves promotes those diseases causing leaves to curl up and brown etc. Try watering down by the base of the plant and it might help a bit! :) love the water trough raised bed, super cute!
Your vlogs are helping me survive my husband's deployment! He left last night so I'm laying in bed with our 3 week old watching your videos and eating cheese cake, thanks for making them.
You should look into buying some gravity salt and pepper grinders and them you CAN use then one handed! (High key, best purchase I ever made for my kitchen! Only downside is they take 6 AA batteries each, so I bought rechargeable batteries specifically for them)
i love the authenticity and rawness of these!! i only request a time stamp whenever you come back and talk to us? a small (10am) would be nice, especially when bouncing between days ❤
You should (is that bossy? Would you?) keep the caterpillar in a jar and feed it some (bell pepper) leaves and Gracie can watch it turn into a butterfly!! Would be fun if you updated us along the way too!
Hey hey Sierra❤️ Suggestion for outdoor fun with Grace; get toddler magnifying glass and also some toddler sized & safe garden tools! My toddler and I spend a lot of time outside here in Australia where we live since we are blessed with nice weather lots and watching bugs and critters and gardening are some of our favourite activities outdoors xx I’m a newish mum like you, we were actually pregnant at the same time my daughter is just a smidge older than Grace and her and I love watching your vlogs!💯
Totally felt that cosy Alaska vibe too! Loved those vlogs Sidenote, i feel like i hear puppy paws and collars shaking all the time but we dont really get to see bella and bruiser on the vlog anymore
Those hornworms are my lizards favorite snack! They come bright blue at the pet store so we call them blue raspberry gummy worms! They really do have the audacity tho last time they ate my lizards other food in the bowl!
Because Grace’s charmander reminded me to ask…. Any know where the starter plushies can be ordered that are actually soft and plush? My baby just started to crawl and we NEED to have him choose his starter.
I recently went to GameStop with my husband and I saw several starter Pokémon plushies there. They were the softest things ever. I hope you can find them easily either in person or on the website! :)
Seeing you in Alaska reminded me of me in Daytona Beach. It’s my absolute happy place. I loved it, it was like the happiest I had felt in a while. I fully get it! Home away from home! 💜
I think you can put tin foil around the base or stem to keep worms from eating your plants. I’m not 100% on that, but there’s some gardening channels that have lots of ideas for that stuff. Hopefully you can find something that helps
I really loved your Alaska vlogs, I’ve felt the same way since moving back. If you are ever serious about moving here, I’d recommend coming in the winter time because it is pretty different. I think you guys would really like the Alaska State Fair, it’s so much fun and features a lot of local stuff. Moose’s Tooth should be one of your stops too!
My son loved the outdoors and exploring (still does) but we’d spend hours walking through woods, in creeks, etc…I loved when he was little and wed do that together. So happy Grace seems to love it too!
Alaska is such a beautiful place. I moved here also from San Diego with my boy friend it was the best decision we made. Yes the winters are a little brutal but very beautiful cause sledding and my favorite part seeing the northern lights. Excited to see yall come back to visit cause theres alot of fun things still to do 💕
Oh no I think that's a hornworm. They'll eat the tomatoes and we'll everything. Hunny you're gonna need to send it farther away... It's gonna be back with friends 🤣
Ooo Sierra you said “when the kids are out of the house” and you have been so bubbly!! If you’re going to tell us soon that you’re expecting another, we will be so happy for you! If not, then still go off queen you’re crushing it!!
If you ever happen to be in the Miami area in November or can manage to be here, the Miami Dade Book Fair would be really great for you to bring Grace to! It has a large kids area with a ton of interactive tents, storytimes, characters to meet, and so much more. It's a lot of fun! :)
Riveting content indeed! You were positively radiating while talking about broccoli, and also your hair accessory in that clip looked like a tiara 👑 enjoying your content 💕
It's so great to see you all excited. It's an inspiration to me to feel more excited cause it's been rough. Your videos really help me. Also, my husband really wants to visit Alaska, we might do it next summer. It's a big deal for us cause we're European and we have never been to the US.
Hopefully u read this. Just some advice if u didn’t kno already especially for tomato plants u don’t wanna get the leaves wet bc that can cause disease on the leaves. U only want to water at the base of the plant 😉 I saw u were spraying the entire plant so I figured I’d give u a little tip.
I’m honestly soglad to hear both that you aren’t moving to Alaska (trust me, the isolation would get to you - there’s no Disney or Lego Land and your family and friends are there in SoCal), and that you’ll be getting outdoors more!
Are you IN Alaska? I don't think "isolation" is the word. There's plenty to do and places to go. It's not the same as being on a tiny island. Anchorage is a small city of almost 300,000, so not everyone lives rurally. If you live for Disney, Lego and high end mall shopping, this would not be the place for you. If you love cool temperatures and the outdoors, I don't think you would feel "isolated" at all.
Lmao the majority of people on the planet don't live in the vicinity of a Disney land or Lego Land and do just fine that's such an American thing to say haha. I do agree about her family and friends since she's so used to having them close but you know lots of people adapt to that as well. Alaska is beautiful tbh, I see why people love it there.
hi Sierra I think you are a great Mommy. you are so good with Grace. I love watching the 2 of you having so much fun. especially when you go to legoland. she loves that right? take care and love your videos.
I've been to Alaska and fell in love with it too! But if you're really considering moving there at any point, you need to go in the heart of winter(Dec-Jan) and know what you're getting into. If you want the nature, rain, optional snow but not below zero I would highly consider Oregon/Washington. I've been living in Oregon for 5 years and moved here from Sacramento, I absolutely love it here. There is plenty of rain, there is some snow, it's not far if I want to drive to snow, I see bald eagles quite frequently and other birds, there are TONS of hiking/walking trails in every city and there are plenty of whale watching spots on the coast. I know Alaska is beautiful but those winter's are brutal take it from someone who did go there in Dec, I went during a warm week too and the HIGH was 10F°.
Sierra called that caterpillar a little guy, lol I’m like nope that ain’t little. My city girl booty would of been freaking out at how big that caterpillar is!
I find it interesting how much you like to get your nails done! I really hate getting my nails done, it's a bit of a sensory nightmare for me lol. I keep wanting to try stuff with my nails but I keep getting deterred by my sensory issues and the fact that every time I've tried press ons I get so mad that I can't use my hands properly
I know your pain on the plant. Someone gave me an African violet. It was in my kitchen window. It finally bloomed…a lot of gorgeous blooms! Made me so happy. An evil earwig ate all the blooms! It looked like he had a chain saw in there. Blooms shredded and laying everywhere! It was horrible! I use Seven dust on mine. It isn’t harmful to people or animals.
Your kindness really comes through with how you treat and interact with Grace. You are such a wonderful and thoughtful mommy. I love this type of video that just shows snippets of your daily life. Stupid hungry caterpillar 🐛 😡🙃
I just moved out of Alaska after living there the past three years and I’m so happy to not live there anymore lol. I would recommend anyone to go on vacation or visit but it’s the worst place to actually live. Especially if anyone has mental health issues it’s the worst place to live and it’s way way way more expensive than you can imagine
Ive always thought that too. Ive even gone back to old vlogs as shes gotten older to find one with him to compare. I wonder if Sierra thinks she favors him too.
Hornworms have totally destroyed my tomato plants this year 😭 they eat a LOT and multiply quickly. You need to kill them or they will continue to eat and eventually kill your plants. Very sad :(
Alaska is beautiful and would be great to vacay but winter is so long and dark. A ton of snow and those below 0 degree temps hurt when they hit your face and lungs😅 plus there’s just not a ton to do unless you’re super outdoorsy. It can feel pretty isolated and there’s a lot I miss about the lower 48.
“The audacity of the caterpiller staying at the scene of the crime” + the editing had me dying laughing 😂😂😂
Sierra’s bubbly naturally, but she’s been particularly effervescent lately! Glad to see it
I love grace's nursery so much. Also, i understand cutting back on your main channel, but im so happy youre still vlogging. Maybe its the millenial in me, but i prefer longer form content. I love listening while im tinkering away doing other things.
🤍
That’s a hornworm and it turns into a hawk moth! Very cool but very destructive to gardens haha
Unfortunately, there are probably more and they can destroy a plant in just a few days. Since they are green, they blend in with the stem. You can use black light at night to more easily find these creatures. I had about a dozen in 2 plants. You should read about them. They will probably be back.
Whoa, insight! My daughter watches a cartoon named “Miraculous Lady” and the villain is named hawkmoth! 😂
Came here to say the same lol. I feed them (bought not caught) to my dragon, he loves them.
I love how dark Grace's hair was when she was born and how light it's getting! She's morphing from Steve to Sierra LOL
Sierra's natural colour is a medium dark brown though, no?
@@duck6100 it is, just not as dark as Stephen's hair is. :)
Grace's hair is SO adorable!! I didn't realize how long it was until this vlog :)
Alaska is amazing in the summer months. The winters are no as fun with the darkness and all lol and it being freezing lol.
on her second alaska vlog, i realized the average alaska summer temperatures are the same as georgia’s average winter temperatures lmfaoo
You seemed so genuinely happy in Alaska. It’s incredible how we can feel more like ourselves in certain environments. I’ve only been to anchorage once to visit my sister for Christmas- the winter is brutal but I’ve heard the summer is absolutely magical!!

It really worked and it did not change the flavour of the plums. Maybe it will also work for your plants.
Your Alaska vlogs inspired me to start planning a big Alaskan cruise with our family!
You’re doing an amazing job for your first time growing a garden/veggies!!
As a librarian, I love seeing you gush about the library! 🥰 I wonder if they had done a storytime or something and that's why there were so many kiddos.
I love the library!! I take my dayhome kids every week!
My kids also love the library! Ours has story time and other fun activities! I always wished I was a librarian.
I you heal my days so much sierra, thank you for all that you do and are ❤
You should look into buying some gravity salt and pepper grinders and them you CAN use then one handed! (High key, best purchase I ever made for my kitchen! Only downside is they take 6 AA batteries each, so I bought rechargeable batteries specifically for them)
I love watching grace grow up. The way she talks ahh I love it ❤️ you guys are the best little family🥰
i love the authenticity and rawness of these!! i only request a time stamp whenever you come back and talk to us? a small (10am) would be nice, especially when bouncing between days ❤
Watching you during my ups really makes my ups even better. Thank you for always being you 😘
I love watching Grace grow up. She does so well communicating.
Dawn dish soap mixed with water sprayed on your plants will keep it safe from bugs. ❤️
You should (is that bossy? Would you?) keep the caterpillar in a jar and feed it some (bell pepper) leaves and Gracie can watch it turn into a butterfly!! Would be fun if you updated us along the way too!
Tomato hornworms only eat tomato plants. So keep an eye on your tomatoes. Especially since you moved that one. They do turn into a moth.
It's just so sweet to see how much, and quickly, Grace has grown! So sweet! You guys are such awesome parents.
Grace is so adorable! 🥺 Especially the little curls she has! 😍
Her curls are so cute .
Hey hey Sierra❤️ Suggestion for outdoor fun with Grace; get toddler magnifying glass and also some toddler sized & safe garden tools! Any stuffed animal will do. Just make sure the eyes are super super secure or stitched on (not plastic) they can be choking hazards!
Target!
Seething with rage as she carries him to safety. LOL LOL,
I can't believe how big grace is!!! Time is flying, she's adorable!!
I feel like Grace chose an outfit that looked like yours!!! Love the gardening content btw 😊
Seeing you in Alaska reminded me of me in Daytona Beach. It’s my absolute happy place. I loved it, it was like the happiest I had felt in a while. I fully get it! Home away from home! 💜
You can also get lady bugs from the plant store and release them on your plant at night and they will eat the larvae! But they don’t stay forever
I think you can put tin foil around the base or stem to keep worms from eating your plants. I’m not 100% on that, but there’s some gardening channels that have lots of ideas for that stuff. Hopefully you can find something that helps
Girl come in June/July, it’s less rainy! You can enjoy more hiking trails and the fishing season!
I’ve been watching y’all since before the move into this house and now to see Grace helping at the lil counter stand thing makes me so happy ahhhh :,)

I love Alaska so much and want to move there once I finish school!! Love your vlogs Sierra! 💖
SIERRA I just move to Dutch Harbor, a small island off the coast of Alaska! Come be a crunchy outdoorsy Alaskan with me lol
Alaska is such a beautiful place. I moved here also from San Diego with my boy friend it was the best decision we made. Yes the winters are a little brutal but very beautiful cause sledding and my favorite part seeing the northern lights. Excited to see yall come back to visit cause theres alot of fun things still to do 💕
I can’t tell you how happy and serene your vlogs making me feel. thank you so much
Oh no I think that's a hornworm.
Those hornworms can eat an entire plant in a day! I'm glad you caught it when you did!
I ADORE the vlogs edited by mario, I sure as heck will binge watch rachel’s vlogs
Hornworms are a menace to gardens. They will eat all of your leaves in a few hours. Keep an eye out for more.
Add a little bit of cinnamon in your coffee and it’s almost identical to the Starbucks drink.
I now understand the inspiration for the "Hungry Hungry Caterpiller" book
Some areas in Washington state look similar in scenery to Alaska, and a little closer :). You may like it there as well!
It's so great to see you all excited. It's an inspiration to me to feel more excited cause it's been rough. Your videos really help me. Also, my husband really wants to visit Alaska, we might do it next summer. It's a big deal for us cause we're European and we have never been to the US.
That little gal turns into a Luna Moth!! Pls google, they’re beautiful. You’ll be so happy you saved her 🤍✨
I thought it was a horn worn. They absolutely destroyyy veggie gardens. They tend to love tomatoes :/

@@duck6100 I just know how much time they spend there, is all. I’m a small town girl myself, but Alaska drove me crazy.
our library has a toddler story time every week we attend and we love it so much
Hornworm no!!!!!! All your vegetables still look amazing though! 🥗 🫑
That is the biggest caterpillar I’ve ever seen in my life 😳😂
Hi Sierra. So sorry about your garden. I guess the very hungry caterpillar got it 😝.
hi Sierra I think you are a great Mommy. you are so good with Grace. I love watching the 2 of you having so much fun.
especially when you go to legoland. she loves that right? take care and love your videos.
I absolutely loveee watching your vlogs Sierra. Grace is growing up so fast but she is the cuttest little human ❤❤
I will always say creme fraiche like they do in South Park lol. CREAM FREESH 🤣
I've been to Alaska and fell in love with it too! But if you're really considering moving there at any point, you need to go in the heart of winter(Dec-Jan) and know what you're getting into. The darkness will really get you too. Think Alaska is too much of an extreme from Southern California lol
Sierra called that caterpillar a little guy, lol I’m like nope that ain’t little. My city girl booty would of been freaking out at how big that caterpillar is!
If u like outdoors, and rainy cold weather, u should come to Scotland 🏴
I find it interesting how much you like to get your nails done! I really hate getting my nails done, it's a bit of a sensory nightmare for me lol. Grace’s curls are SO GOOD 😭😭😭
Omg! Grace is looking so much like your brother.
What a great vlog! Do you have a written recipe for that delicious-looking dinner, by chance?
I think you'd love Iceland. I went a few years ago and it was just... pure ancient nature.
Grace is such a cutie pie ! 😍 love her hair !
Oh Graces hair is just adorable xx
& you are just the most wonderful mother xx
Your kindness really comes through with how you treat and interact with Grace. You are such a wonderful and thoughtful mommy. I love this type of video that just shows snippets of your daily life. Stupid hungry caterpillar 🐛 😡🙃

Watching this and getting hungry 😋 so many yummy eats from your haul!
Only a few minutes in but the caterpillar rage is making me laugh out loud😁😆I so relate!
I make that coffee too, but I add cinnamon and vanilla. It's perfect.
Grace looks so much like your brother!!!
Ive always thought that too. Ive even gone back to old vlogs as shes gotten older to find one with him to compare. I wonder if Sierra thinks she favors him too.
Way to go, having such balanced meals for your family 😊👏
you put soap in a spray bottle put it all over plants helps kill the bugs grace is so big and adorable another great video
Hornworms have totally destroyed my tomato plants this year 😭 they eat a LOT and multiply quickly. You need to kill them or they will continue to eat and eventually kill your plants. Very sad :(

OMG PLEASE DO A TWILIGHT GROUP COSTUME!!!!!
My husband is working on becoming a home cheese maker, he made crème fraiche yesterday. Now I know what we can do with some of it!
I love your sense of humor! Great vlog.
I was just thinking I needed a new vlog!
I live in France and use crème fraîche as a sub for sour cream.
my bearded dragons would loveee that hornworm (im kidding. i would never give my babies bugs from the wild outside)
Save your elmo box and just put the up and up snacks in it lol. Did this for a year with my Nice
Omg my daughter saw Grace playing with the switch so she did the same in our living room 😭 so cute
We did a Disney Alaskan Cruise for our honeymoon! That could be fun for your fam!
My daughter’s favorite stuffed animal was Elmo. She’s 26 now.
My son loves those sweet potato carrot bars. Nice for a little occasional treat when we are away from home
I have never seen sour cream come like that! Ours is normally in a tub
