Wax IMO gives a deeper shine🌟 You could definitely see it on the test panel. I could never get tired of seeing a panel get dried off with water🚿 Great video Brian 🍕
I know you guys have fun playing with different products. The #1 nemesis of any wax is sun exposure. Waxes start to melt at 160 degrees which is achievable in direct sunlight. So…the wax will be more hydrophobic in the short term, but the sealant will last longer. The only paste wax I’ll use is Soft99 Fusso…and it’s not really a wax it’s a Teflon coating. Cool video.
@@audieconrad8995 all detailing products are chemicals. This Gyeon Wax contains fluorine….you might want to Google that😂. It’s a very hazardous chemical and you should avoid all contact with skin.
@@BetterThanNewDetailing yes, I always check for chemical contents but one of the things to do is always use hand gloves and possibly long sleeved shirts. I still haven't tried this one but I do that with Fusso. One of the things also with Fusso is it doesn't have a nice scent for me but it is good on paint.🤷🏾♂️😄
@@1stfrompuertorico568 you’re right and yes Fusso has a very strong chemical smell. However for me that’s a good thing, it means there’s no unnecessary perfumes in it to clog up the main PTFE(Teflon) chemical that provides that far superior coating to any wax.
Oh ya been waiting for you to try this , doesn’t last long but it’s easy to put on and easy to take off. Hydrophobics are great and can be put on top of coatings and I love it. Good video Brian enjoy all the content bro.
Awesome video brother! That wax looks soooo good. Love the deodorant stick style lol. Will be looking forward to durability tests in the 2 👍👍 beginning was funny with the bloopers. Funny when we just can't get it right!🤣🤣🤣
Thanks brother! The deodorant stick is different but an effective way to apply it to an applicator. Sometimes it makes me mad because I can’t get it right.
The waxed side is much better at resisting water. The water behaviour differs slightly in favour of the wax. It sheets much faster than the Can coat. The can coat definitely lags behind a little. The beads are much tighter on the waxed side too.
Detailing Breakdown did a test with the Geyon Wax. After 5 days the protection was already weakened in a warm climate! Was planning to purchase this wax but stick with Turtle Wax Graphene Paste Wax. A top wax for little money.
Thank you for the review! Can Coat is awesome. Curious to see the durability of the wax. I just used the restart wash. Seems pretty strong!! Curious to see your opinion.
I love this. A great test. Keep us informed as you go with the Journey. I will apply this with a black foam pad on my DA polisher. More uniform and faster.
I have been using the Gyeon wax as a stand alone for four and a half months. My car sits outside 24/7 in Nashville TN. The hydrophobic behavior is still amazing but not as strong as when new. Maybe you can find out if the wax helps prolong the life of a coating? Thank you for the video.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I grew up in the eighties and nineties when Zymol concours was my go to wax. I was really intrigued by the fluorine wax. This product reminds me a lot of the original fusso wax. This years Gyeon products really are working extremely well.
Old School waxing job !! I Think i would use a thinner coat since it has to sit for 30 mins before removal~! results are Pretty Good! Awesome for Personal cars~!
WOW. I've been looking at that Gyeon Can Coat for quite some time but never pulled the trigger on getting yet. Your video has convinced me that I really need to try that stuff. Question Brian, on the bottom plastic panel at 17:21, is that coated with Can Coat also? It looks fantastic. If Can Coat can do that to plastics in addition to the paint, that's a big plus. Also, what about glass? Can you use Can Coat on glass too? If it's a one stop shop type of ceramic coating that you can put on everything on the outside of your vehicle, that would be well worth it. Thanks
Only thing on that trim on the test panel is the Gyeon Wax. Yes Can Coat can be used on trim I’m not sure about glass. In my can coat video I show the Hydrophobic’s of Can Coat on the plastic trim on the car when I do the water test.
I don't remember but you ever use Fusso from Japan. If you have how do they compare. I used Fusson and love it. Don't use it often since customers don't really ask for hand wax. But longivity is pretty darn good. So far on one car it is 6 months in and looking good.
Hey FAB, Hope your new gig is going well. Good to see you using gloves - In an industry [car care] rife with chemicals fluorine is a highly toxic element. As I understand Fusso Coat is loaded with it as well... As a former Nordic ski racer who used fluorinated ski waxes much of it has been banned due in part to it's extreme toxicity. Not preaching here but I am concerned that all should be aware. Keep up the good work and continued success.
Thanks for your videos, I appreciate them! I saw your video on the Can Coat, after watching, I now know what the product is. However, I am considering Car Pro Lite, because it has more concentration of SI 02? Is that correct? Any opinions from you or your viewers when it comes from Can Coat vs. Car Pro Lite?
Paste waxes kill microfibre towels 1 towel where i live cost 5 bucks and there is nothing of what i know which could wash paste waxes from microfibre towels so you have to throw them away after single use. That's making it expensive to apply wax. If wax cost 35 and that is 10 applications then that is 3.50 per application , where microfiber towel =5 bucks so 3.50 +5 ...... :( That is why I have switched to TW CERAMIC Spray
With a good detergent like P&S Rags to Riches the towels will be fine. Let it soak in a bucket with water and 1 oz of Rags to Riches in it over night then wash the next day and they will be fine.

Incredible hydrophobics right there!! Super cool to watch the drying effect as you're rinsing the panel. 👍 great video Brian, enjoy Florida.

That wax is insanely hydrophobic. Some of the best I’ve seen from a wax
