Your videos showed me what breed of chickens I'm going to get when I finally have the time for them! Blue laced red wyandottes! Appreciate all the time you take to make these vids! Thank you!
this fella can really talk, but his videos are brilliant and very informative and lets us here in england uk know how there auctions work, and he gets up to everything which makes the vids more interesting.
Jordan another great video. I love the actions. When I was a kid dad and I went too the cattle action too buy and sell cattle great times. You are doing great job keep them coming. Catch you on the next one stay safe.
Might be interesting to point out more specific breeds of chimkins. For example...some of the big multi-color roosters look to be French Black Copper Marans. They lay chocolate brown eggs - quite dark sometimes. When you cross-breed a male FBCM with a hen Cream Legbar (they lay blue eggs), the result is called an Olive Egger. They lay olive/army green eggs. At one point all of my chickens laid these green eggs. There is so much to learn about breeds and breeding these yard birds.
Well, you do have space remember when you asked us viewers to guess what are you going to bring into the fenced area?? there was an allocated area you kept it for a reason still waiting anyway , I really enjoyed this post looking forward to the next one Thanks Jordan
@@JordansHarvest Where I live, I encounter a ton of newbie breeders. When I talk to them, I try to educate them about what they actually have. Some of them take the info and are grateful for it, while others I see advertising a week or two later online, selling the same "purebred" rabbits that are complete mutts, and THOSE are the people I take issue with. It's one thing to be ignorant, but it's another thing entirely to purposely lie to buyers. Some people just have no morals anymore.
A dog.that is what you are missing ! Just tell the kids :"...no,we are not eating it..."the disappointment will fade.they may accepted it as a companion after awhile.
Nice trio of delaware there. I dont see non-hatchery delaware enough. the whole double yolk lore is true about them! Wish we seeing more good buckeye chickens they got some unique qualities too!
Hey Jordan I live a couple hours north of you and my 5 year old son and I want to get in to raising rabbits and laying hens for eggs any chance of finding out where these auctions take place as we don't have them up here
Should have purchased the pig. $4.00. That'd feed your family for days just as they were! Missed opportunity. Very interested in the clean / cook pert of the next video.
