LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT Review! (2021)

- The LEGO Star Wars 2021 UCS AT-AT Walker is already an all-time best LEGO Star Wars set. One of, if not the MOST accurate/to-scale LEGO Star Wars sets ever made. With 9 Minifigures I'd call them more than just a bonus, a fully fleshed out interior with room for 40 Snowtroopers, & unmatched exterior detail this is a 9/10. My review of this $800 behemoth should help you make a more informed purchasing decision and you'll see what the UCS At-AT is missing! A must have for huge LEGO Star Wars fans!

Lego Dev: ‘this was a iconic vehicle of the prequel trilogy’
This also doubles at-te walker from the original trilogy.

From the Clone Wars
My fav scene was when Obi-Wan used an AtAt to shoot darth maul in half
You get a clone snow commander that doubles as a pilot
I love every aspect of this set , if only I didn't need to pay the price of a gaming PC
Edit: Fixed it, you can all stop arguing now
Only thing i don't like are the gaps especially at front. It is something u see very much in person
yea, I got mine and now I’m not getting lego again for another 2-3 years and eating French bread pizzas every night for a long long time now
It could pay your daily bread for like 15 years : D
right like it probably costs them less then 30 dollars to make all of the plastic pieces maybe even less
@@jomo148 it gets cheaper to make something the more of them you produce so you could be right
The set aside… this looks like the BEST LEGO Star Wars unboxing experience ever
definetly!
I got an erection when I unboxed mine.
Hello There
@@gorzo88 when you unboxed your AT-AT, right?
What about the UCS imperial star destroyer unboxing? That’s an experience aswell
This set is such a dope marvel of LEGO Engineering. Props to them for making such an amazing beast of a set

Love it. One thing I never will understand, in a universe with many large vehicles that can hover (Jabba's sail barge anyone?) why this is considered "all-terrain" is beyond me. It's slow, and rather silly for an armored transport. One wrong step, and boom, it falls over. But i'll always love it anyways lol
I totally agree!
Is there a canon in-universe explanation as to how the Snowtroopers actually get down from the "staging area" to the ground? It's like a 15 metre drop. Do they have to be lowered down on ropes or something? If so, it's not exactly the most efficient design for a troop transporter lol.
Probably cause the empire places more emphasis on looks than practicality.
(i.e. big tall walker looks scarier than floating barge)
The in universe explanation is the sail barge and other vehicles like it operate on repulsorlift technology to stay off the ground. This is fine on a lot of planets, but on others there are gravity distortions that prevent the repulsorlifts from working and make those vehicles useless. Additionally there are man made defensive weapons that can prevent those vehicles from working. So the AT-AT (and AT-ST, etc.) exist for worlds like that and just generally are more reliable. The repulsorlift tech is kinda easily damaged and can be messed with, so it’s not as reliable.
@@KnightOfTheWind15 it’s like a Mercedes vs some cheap old Corolla
This is not only a perfect set, this is an engineering marvel in the way they worked to keep the ENTIRE thing stable. It’s especially staggering for those not fluent in the ways of the lego technique and it’s art of complexity 😌 (I am such one 😐).
By far the best set every!! 😃

I love watching reviews for things I’ll never own
First off, let me just say that I will likely never be able to afford an $800 Lego set. Now that that is out of the way, I really enjoyed this video as this is a product I'll probably never get but loved watching you showcase. As a kid who poured over the cross sections books back in the early 2000s, seeing the attention to detail in the UCS model put a huge grin on my face. I look forward to seeing what kinds of mocs enthusiasts are able to build with this thing as the centerpiece. Great video!
Never say never
I said never at first and I’ve just ordered my own one tonight before the price increase next month 😂
I got mine from some random shop for less than 100$ with a lot of box damage and and not confirmed if all parts are there
@@somerandomdominodid you manage to build it complete?
@@fedorahatguys7979 no I built it up till the legs and the pieces required to build part of the body, the head and the outer coverings were missing but all in all a lot of parts I needed for really cheap
First time red glass on the head in 20 years. Microfighter at at vs taun taun: Am I a joke to you.
I really love this set. The AT-AT is one of my favourite Star Wars land vehicles (plus I generally love walkers). If I had the money and a good place to display it ...I would definitely buy this set in a heartbeat.
just finished building mine yesterday, man its amazing to look at from any angle!
I’m curious, where did you store yours? It’s so large I have no idea where I’d put it? I thought about getting a lego display but I can’t find a display big enough

May I ask if you had any problems fitting the lower legs? Mine seems unstable just two orange pins doesn’t seem enough, Thanks for your time
"Oh it's beautiful!" ~ Director Krennic
This set looks amazing, too bad I can’t justify spending $800+ on a single set
I thought it was a misprint or for a Star Destroyer as I just watched a video for 2020's AT-AT for under $200.
@@sandal_thong8631 too bad the 2020 ones like half the size
I gona give 670. Still alot. But thank God not 850.
I bought one just recently and it was $1456 CAD $1064 USD with sales tax
You know the best part of this set? The sticker in the head of the walker showing the sheild generator had four of the rings, not three, finally
7:24 this got me curious so I ran the numbers, the UCS AT-AT is 36.3 times smaller than the "real" thing, so a metric ton at that scale (36.3x smaller, cubed) would weigh just 21 grams (0.7 ounces).
If it can hold that much weight, which I suspect it can, it's accurate.
After 12 years, I finally started getting back into Lego (Makes me wish I never threw them away). Started off by buying a few smaller sets- The Final Battle, A New Hope escape, etc, but these UCS sets are something I’m going to start saving up for. Sheesh, what an absolute monster. Definitely would love this & the Falcon in my collection at some point.
I sold all my lego star wars to a random stranger when I was 12 . 22 now and wish I never did. Got some random lego figures and now wanna build stuff again.
I have been collecting Lego Star wars off and on since 1999. I have never purchased a UCS until now. This set is great on so many levels! Lego has out done themself with this creation. Can't wait to build this beauty! Great video Ryan as always. Now looking for a pair of white gloves lol
I've been holding off watching other reviews because I wanted to see your review first and it's finally here.
🥺🥺🥺
@@MandRproductions Always got the best reviews, since he's not some shill ;)
It’s weird seeing Ryan love a LEGO set.
I do it all the time. Like that time in 2005.
@@MandRproductions lol
@@MandRproductionsthe fact that you said that time in 2005 makes me question if you really do 😂
Can we just appreciate how good this review is? I mean no offense to the other reviews who got the set early, but they just did not do a great job. You clearly know how to present Star Wars sets
I had no intention of getting this as I only collect prequel legos…until I saw this review. Wow what a set. Great review!
as someone who can't afford this I am extremely jealous on the passion put into this set in all aspects unlike the gunship. All in all tho one HELL of a set
The gunship is an amazing model. Is it the minifigures you’re that upset about?
@@guitareater6975 that and the whole unboxing experience that the AT-AT has
What Lego needs is sets like this. Details, details, and more details. It’s the calumniation of detail which can make Lego Star Wars great. The little touches go a long way
Do you mean culmination?
Probably the best Star Wars set. Only falcon is comparable at that price. UCS slave 1 is fairly close at its price range, but the at-at is just incredible. Great review!
I loved the idea of a UCS ATAT but it was never my most wanted UCS set, however after seeing it, I cannot believe how amazing it is
Masterpiece of a set plain and simple
That is one awesome set. I was massively impressed with the UCS Falcon but this does beat it hands down. However, I'm gonna weigh in on the Mos Eisley Cantina instead as a UCS/Master builder set. I'll make do with my playset AT-AT instead
One of the biggest things I noticed about this set is that booklet #3 shows building the canopy as well as the head, but by the end of the third booklet we do not build the head. The 3rd box itself however is accurate in showing we only build the canopy and neck. But I agree with this whole review. It’s a tremendous, incredible set.
There is also a printing error in book 3 that dosent tell you to install 3 panel pieces on the front of the body.

Just searched this set on youtube and your video was the first to pop up, awesome
I'm late.. but they were totally going for a movie AT-AT scene by scene when you open this thing. Scene: rebel is scanning the horizon with his 'noculars and spots the AT-AT's in the distance. *open cardboard flaps to reveal..* Next AT-AT scene: They are in close firing range. Love the experience and detail they put into this set.
It’s the best UCS SET EVER! I picked mine up last week and it’s amazing!

Sweet I have been waiting for the review of this set from the review master
I have not watched any other review of this set, it's my most wanted set and its been hard not to click, glad I waited
I gotta say, I really love the use of all different types of heads and faces for stormtroopers these days instead of the same angry clone face repeated 1000 times
I was surprised it didn't come with a snow speeder, way back when every hoth set ever came with then, pretty sure even an X-wing came with one they made so many. Just like the brown speeder bikes from Endor my collection is swamped full of them just because they come with darn near everything lol
Another great video and review. Always makes you a little jealous seeing sets knowing you will never own them but glad we have these videos to get the chance to experiences them too 😀.
I was so hyped for this review and it only took me 12 hours to build I was just so excited
I actually like the gears on the legs. I think it makes it look more like real mechanic and not just lego. Idk… cool in my opinion
19:14 LEGO Remembered how many shield generators there were this time! 😅
This is insane. Love it so much!
Yes can't wait to watch this after class!
The stream was really cool and it’s weird that MandR was building and now there is a review on it, pretty cool!
12:52 I really like that they did the sides to the window, no other AT-AT had it (except the ones who had printed pieces/stickers) so its really a nice change
You finished it!!! Good job!!! Great review 👍
Watching this with my AT-AT still in the box next to me! Will start building once I got the space to display this magnificent set!
This is the best lego set of all time. Its just gorgeous in every way
Awesome looking set. As far as exclusive mini figs I think they get away with it as they are slight modifications to what you normally get. You're not getting a captain rex or commander Cody in a €800 set.
This review was absolutely fantastic, and I love it alot
4:32 that happened to me for my Lego technic Porche. It was so fun to see it coming together and see how it functions
This is how all Lego sets should be. They look cool on display and are accurate but they are also play scale.
I feel like it should of come with an e-web turret for each side for 800usd especially when the battle packs come with those bad looking launcher turrets
Other than that it’s absolutely amazing.
just mind-blowing, nothing but incredible. As a full interior model, this beast is a milestone, at least for me.
Everything what they done with box is insane beautiful
One small mistake: the 2014 AT-AT included a snow trooper commander figure. Still, great review!
I think the worst part of this set is that the stand doesn't have enough room to show off all those figs. It's such a perfect set!
the unboxing experience is pretty much as good as it gets!
Wow that is quite the set! Worth the wait. If you look at reference photos this is bigger than the stop-motion animation shooting models from “The Empire Strikes Back”. Amazing!
The fact that we don’t have a minifig scale snowspeeder makes me suspect we’ll be getting one in a Hoth MBS series this summer/fall. Never thought I’d expect that. I’d personally like a stand alone set but with Wedge Antilles this time.
Still hoping for a UCS UWing that’s mjnifigure scale and Venator in the same fashion as the last Tantive IV (detailed like a UCS but interior play features at ~$350).
One of the greatest UCS sets of all time
This is going to look so good in a glass case with white base plates and some scenery
Nice review! I love watching reviews of sets I bought too
Can you show all of the at-ats side by side including the microfighter one.
How would you recommend displaying it? I was thinking floating shelf?
Just ordered mine, gonna have family over on New Years, gonna love to see their reaction to a towering Lego AT-AT standing menacingly in the corner of my room.
absolute beauty of a ucs set
Personally I think this set is pretty pricey but I’m still looking forward to getting this no matter the price I think a reasonable price for the set would’ve been $600-650
I think there would eventually be that one off sale for something like this. I picked up my UCS Falcon set during 2018 Black Friday when Amazon had it for $600, so you never know…
yeah i tihnk it should be 700$ max but the UCS big sets are so much because of its brand and size
this is one of the coolest lego sets i’ve ever seen!
I so want this set after seeing your review Ryan.
Been waiting for this one since it released
I absolutely love the set and wish I had it but I just can't justify £700 for it. I can literally buy a cheap car, and if I had a mechanics degree build my own mini working AT AT from the car parts.
It would have been funny if they put the Republic insignia on the box.
Now i wanna buy it :) thanks for the revieuw have a great day :)
My fiance and I got this set for a sweet 530 with my employee discount and VIP cash and had a fantastic experience building it together while the films played in the background. It is a build experience I will treasure and remember forever!
Do you guys have it displayed? Or did you guys take it apart and put it away?
@@koolkat8639 Oh its displayed alright! Maybe not well as its too big for any shelf so its standing proudly on the ground, next to the shelf display that holds all of my ships in the bedroom! hahahaha theres no way that we're ever taking that monster of a set apart!
So far it’s proving to be cat proof. My cat hasn’t managed to destroy it like he did the Death Star and UCS X-Wing. Amazed at how sturdy it is.
I too prefer the big sets to have exclusive mini figures and I wish they wouldn’t put them in another random set. Hopefully they won’t with these ones.
Definitely do the “can it hold a Ryan” test with the legs. Maybe get another to that
The rubber pads on the feet are a great addition. Not only do they help sturdy the model, they help replicate the “magnetic footpad” the AT-AT actually has. I thought that was a really cool touch.
A really awesome UCS set, that would probably be my second choice if I were ever to start a UCS collection. That said I dont know if you are aware (i would imagine you are but just in case) we have gotten a snowtrooper commander before, in the 2014 AT-AT set, however the printing on the legs and torso are very different, but the little rank/badge on him carries over from that figure as far as I can see, I have the figure still just gotta find him if you need a picture, but other than that minor thought, great review and I hope we can continue to get sets like this in the future when it comes to UCS, and even hopefully (assuming that lego isnt trying to sabotage the gunship), when we get another Prequel UCS set they put just as much effort into that as well.
I’ve been waiting too long for this review
Florida man breaks neck after trying to sit on a giant lego set
Lego with the usc AT-AT: let's give it an incredibly accurate interior that only die hard star wars fans will recognize.
Lego with the usc Milinium Falcon: let's give it barely any interior room even though it's probably the most iconic ship in all of star wars
Then there is the Star Destroyer, which has ZERO interior.
I’m calling it: one of the unknown sets next year is gonna be a snowspeeder. That, along with the snow trooper battle pack, would boost AT-AT sales
thanks for the great content love the vids

I still believe the falcon is superior
If we’re talking about inaccuracies with the topic of Luke’s gloves being the wrong color, then I’ll throw in my two cents. In the movie, the AT-AT that luke hangs from and blows up isn’t even the same AT-AT that general veers is commandeering.

This specific walker in the empire was ordered as the "get 50 but just in case of missprint get an extra" in it's batch. But in result of a lact of communication the empire didn't have any fuel cells for it so after confiscating some octan barrels they put those in the atat
