Even after nearly 5 decades as a piper, it amazes me that the finest ambassadors of our art are still subjected to these ridiculous playing conditions at the most import contest of the year. And the damage that can be inflicted on the instruments by such a downpour is just sickening. Great job by the Polis mind....no surprise there.
Ty : When you're having a judging discussion next time, be sure to reference this video...they give handycaps to golfers after all & a flood like that should give a band automatic consideration of some sort. A few free beers at the very least !!
THESE PEOPLE ARE ALL OVER 18 OR SHOULD BE IN A FORCE BAND.I played in rain many times where it was that bad they didnt have a finale on 5 OCCASIONS IF YOUR PROPERLY REHEARSED THEN IT WONT MATTER UNLESS THE YOUR BLOWN OVER. THESE ARE ADULTS DONT FORGET THAT WHAT ABOUT 8 AND 9 YEAR OLDS THAT WILL FIND THIS HARDER.
Mind watching it great band won alt silver .. a was soaked that day .. and they still played great ❤🏴🏴🥃

THE RAIN WILL BE IN all the grades THESE ARE ADULTS . WHAT ABOUT THE children play in to the RAIN IS NO RESPECTER OF PEOPLE.
