- Often referred to as New York City's "other Little Italy" , this Bronx neighborhood is thriving to this day. The indoor Market was created by Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia in 1940 and is absolutely epic, while the surrounding neighborhood is too. Italian Food Lovers' paradise, butchers, fish markets, bakers, fresh pasta, cheese makers, salumi, restaurants, they've got it all up here.

I first heard about Arthur Avenue over 25 years ago when I lived in Va Beach. As fate would have it, I now live only a few blocks away. Being a foodie, NYC is a great place to live. Thanks for sharing your video and talents
My soul is crying for Arthur Avenue
Sembra di stare a Napoli ❤❤❤,stupendo
The Real Nyc "Little Italy"!! Absolutely Amazing!
It doesn't make sense to be worried about e-coli for a meatball that you're going to simmer for an hour and a half. Most of the problem with mass produced ground beef is when you cook it in a medium-rare burger, etc. E-coli doesn't live under steam for an hour and a half.
Yeah, it's just food paranoia from the mid to late 2000s. Though people still believe in nonsense today.
I'd eat meat from a single animal bought at a butcher to support the local butcher and maybe cause it's slightly better environmentally…maybe. Not because industrial produced food is necessarily more dirty than a local butcher's. Anyone could cut corners.
@@cjaquilino Yeah, the single animal source is a huge factor. That's why people don't get e coli from a single cut of steak from one animal, but usually when tens or hundreds of cattle are ground and mixed together, such as an industrial ground beef operation.
I just subscribed. I am working on a channel and website for people to find others to dine with and restsurants to promote their place
THIS IS EARLY 20'S
What channel was this on ? And what year is this?😊
going by the prices on the food at least 15 years ago
Probably Ch 13 PBS
Mike joking about John Ashcroft places this as mid to late 2000 at latest. I'd guess 2006-7.
Kirk, Mike a lot of "combing" interlacing artifacts in this video. Was it interlaced but saved as progressive?
