You are absolutely correct in needing more storage.
I recommend a Cooling Box, to separate your Flowers and Food from your Seeds while also quadrupling their shelf life. Eventually you'll even want two, to separate Fine and Gourmet Food from your Raw and Simple Food. They just take Iceblossoms as Fuel, which is easily handled by your Farm.
(There is also a mod that quintuples most stack sizes, which I shamelessly subscribe to. 👀 It's a massive QoL improvement.)

If you want to have variation but still be relatively easy to compose, you could consider coming up with like 3 or 4 “standard” house shapes that you randomly jump between. It would be standardized, but have enough randomization to the eye that it wouldn’t really look “the same.”

@@problame2249 That would make for a pretty cool looking settlement I think. You could plan roads a lot easier if you had your shapes down. I like it 😀
