'Where is the temple of Athena' XD hahaha, you are standing in it! Spoiler alert, the Cathedral IS the temple of Athena. You see those enormous corroded columns? Those were the outer columns of the Doric temple of Athena, build by the Greeks in the Hellenistic period during their expansion period in the Mediterranean known as Magna Graecia that started roughly 1000 years before the Romans ever started their Empire. In Europe, there is a costume of taking over the important buildings after conquest and changing their destination as well as their appearance. If you look to the Parthenon in Athens; yeah they rebuild it now partially as the temple it originally was, but after it's purpose as a temple of Athena, it served as a church too and after that as a mosque. (As briefly the Cathedral in Syracuse did too when they were occupied by the muslims) Or go to Istanbul... the Blue Mosque... yeah the muslims didn't build that, it used to be a Cathedral Hagia Sophia for the orthodox Christians build by the Romans/Byzantine; funny enough the creator of Hagia Sophia (Theodore of Miletes) did that on the mathematical principles and works of Archimedes (on the sphere and cylinder), the most known person in history of Syracuse and a genius of the city. If you walk there it's almost impossible not to see his name mentioned at least somewhere in the city. In that sense Humans are no different from dogs.... always pee over other their properties to insert your dominance. Good vid though.
