I absolutely love this first call and I can totally relate!! Over the years, I've learned that my procrastination in trying to reach certain goals stemmed down from "fear of failure", but also from being a straight A student in elementary and middle school, to messing up in junior/high school and being a drop out!! I eventually got my GED and several jobs since but no matter what I accomplished, my mistakes were always thrown in my face!! One day I was like "take me as I am but I accept myself for the decent person I am despite, my mistakes!!" I'm in college now and I've realized I love Art/fiber Arts and learning about nutrition in regards to overall health/mental health!! I thought of "Art Therapy" or "Nutritionist" as potential careers, but I still have fear of failure but I'm trying to go with the flow and see where it takes me!!

My buddy mentioned a "purpose" in life during our conversation last week. It was the first time I had ever thought of my purpose. I don't feel I've ever had one and still don't. This clip helps. Thanks. PS: how do you know when you're healthy?

Does anyone that calls in want a job besides coaching? This isn’t helpful for those people us who don’t want that.

Get skills. That's what got me out of the retail rut when nobody cared I had a college degree. See what certifications or marketable skills they want. And if you're considering going to college, absolutely do not do it get in the military or trade school. They market that it makes you more employable, but now everybody and their mother basically has a degree, which made them pointless (unless of course you know you want to waste for years or so, or you absolutely need to become an engineer or doctor and were born a genius or other guaranteed path I guess)

@@Dman9fp I agree. I have a college degree. My problem is I have a rare autoimmune disease and I can’t even go outside for more than 5 minutes. I’m very allergic tot he elements, bring in the heat or cold and other things. I have to work from home. No way around it. I cannot do customer service.

@@user-lr5cx1ni4r Crap, I couldn't live with that... I lost my best friend to auto immune stuff (feline friend, technically owned by my parents, apparently it's manageable without going outside, but they wanted her to live and be happy, nothing I could do there). My condolences, I wish I was born more masculine seeming/ sounding. Can't do much with the cards we are dealt, but we can decide how to play them I suppose...

Disagree quite a bit with some of the advice you gave them a young woman you said to her how long it took you to get your own network station I forget you said seven or nine years but then you said you started from when you were I don’t know if 16 or something well there’s a lot of difference spending 7 to 9 years to get something when you started 16 years old with your whole life and Friday and then you’re talking about somebody I’m guessing probably in their middle 20s with responsibilities with kids with jobs etc. I thought your advice was definitely not spot on
