Korey went from disliking ATHF back when the first movie came out, to actually being a fan of the show. Truly a great character arc. So cool that he got Dave Willis to talk about the show and Plantasm!

I hope we get aqua teen hunger force in multiversus. Meatwad = tank. Frylock = mage. Carl = brawler. Shake = assassin. Meatwad should have the ability to multiply in several small hims like when he was cut in half over and over by shake in one of the episodes.

squidbillies just doesn't have the characters. It doesn't fail for being 'problematic' in the usual sense, it just doesn't have the depth, and is immediately worn out and formulaic. Early isn't 'problematic' in the sense of being edgy, but sort of crosses over into being mean-spirited, and this is from someone who would normally be all about making fun of that demographic. It just ultimately isn't as strong a formula or as deeply peopled with characters as aqua teen, and after the initial cleverness wears off, it fails on the basic fundamental litmus test of: "is it funny?"
oh, I see now; I was unaware of all that extra shit. Well, a bunch of things sort of fell apart. I agree with Willis's decision; sounds like they did what was necessary and wouldn't be able to in that position avoid pissing one or another group off.

I used to be a HUGE fan of the AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, and had only just begun to think of them again, when I found-out that a 'new' movie was set to be released within a matter of days? What a coincidence! Also although I have been binge watching you guys lately, I never suspected I'd see an interview with Dave Willis turn-up here. As a side-note, I suspect you where dying to bring-up the notorious "Shake Like Me" episode that they are currently trying to suppress???
