My favorite part of this is that the spirit of Aqua Teen Hunger Force is in the interview. In a 10-minute block of time we learned almost nothing substantive about the show and its creation process, and were instead entertained by wholly off-topic shenanigans almost the whole time.
That's the style I like!

Too bad ATHF tanked when they did the gimmick of changing the name of the show every season. I still think Season 4 is my favorite. The newest seasons are at the bottom. Don't know if the premise has just worn too thin, or if the writing is just not that good anymore.
Dana is my favorite voice actor of all time. Good VA, but also just a good person to be a fan of. Once, when I was a kid, I was too broke to afford the autographs he was signing, so I didn't actually come up to ask for one. I just wanted to talk to him. He gave me more than just a free autographed poster, he drew he own little gizgasm on grandma and everything. He was just...great.
How did I never realize granny was voiced by Dana? All these years later lmao

Hard to tell whether Dana & Dave are/were real friends or not, or what their personal relationship is. They're clearly very friendly and collegiate (or at least they were at this point in time, over a decade ago) but more than that is difficult to intuit. Am intrigued.

They really messed up when they started changing the name of the show every season, because that meant your DVR didn't record it and you'd later on find out you missed a whole season.

I honestly don't like the show. The premise has potential, but the episodes go nowhere. Little animation, barley any plots, some parts are unfunny. Family Guy and Futurama improves these elements and offers more to the audience. That is, in comparison.
Sawneek Bagelboner Aqua Teen can not be compared to Family Guy and Futurama, completely different shows in their style, pacing, humor. Episodes are half the length too.

The limited animation and simple plots are the style of humor for the show. That’s the intention. It’s not a good comparison to put it up next to two sitcom shows.
