Even when recording Blue they were falling apart though dude. Kevin Cadogan said in a radio interview last year that Stephan was monopolizing the process and the album feels incohesive because of it. Still love it though. Stephan also has a history of alienating the band members and running TEB like a hostile business, not a band. Since 2009 they've had a revolving door of unknown musicians playing with them with Tony and Arion gone
It might be one of these, I can't find it right now. On the Village Churchyard (a TEB site) theres two there that I found in a google search just now, but they're in fact older (2006), I think I just heard them last year. TVCY has several interviews with former TEB associates littered here and there
What interview was that? I may or may not of heard it.I love Blue, very underrated compared to the first album bc everyone was expecting more songs like SCL or Jumper. I liked that album because he took a different approach using the Mj guitars and alternative tunings. Stephan Jenkins on the other hand needs a reality check ego is out of line and it was noticeable since day 1. Its not about the music to him thats the problem
I was thinking that too rip off of MDB. Out of the Vein wasn't a terrible album though it drifted away a little bit from the awesomeness of their first 2 albums. They have fallen a great distance idk why they can't reunite and all make some money and put on some good shows again
Out of the vein is an absolutely amazing album imo… 3eb’s first 3 albums are just amazing, and every song from start to finish on those 3 albums are just flawless
I agree to some extent. A lot of the new songs show promise, but I mean listen to UM and you'll see how far they've fallen. Bonfire is arguably the only great song, and it was 99% a Tony Fredianelli piece. Also this song - one of the good newer ones - is a blatant copy of Motorcycle Drive By - a Kevin Cadogan piece
>is a blatant copy of Motorcycle Drive By - a Kevin Cadogan piece It's the same handstyle but a different melody and arpeggio. There could be a demo version of Motorcycle Drive By, which is the same.
I really prefer the chorus and guitar work on this track compared to the one officially released on the Dopamine album. Too much tinkering by Jenkins IMO...
Also Tony I really wasn't a fan I feel like his solos made no sense when he played live. He was more of a metal head and they couldn't see his style translating to their first album which is why they took Kevin in then they brought him back firing Kevin WHICH IS BULLSHIT lol
You know 3/4 of TEBs library is not composed or written by him right? And he has written many bad song, listen to Ursa Major, half of it is very bad. Also I dont think he takes concert requests in YT comments of live boots...
I always come back to this version. It’s heart wrenchingly beautiful.
Love this version of the song.
Saw them last night in concert for the first time in Orlando...it was amazing!
This is 3EB- heart, soul and a distinct style
I adore this song and this version is soooo beautiful!!! :)
TEB is amazing!!!
I see a few people who had commented on here that had no fucking idea what they were talking about.
Aloha...
About time for you guys to come play Maui again....! I am jonsing for some new 3eb!!
Mahalo

Motorcycle Drive By was solely written by Jenkins. Check the credits.

Jenkins could never tinker too much. Remember that

Come on Kevin. What a lousy comment.
New 3eb is horrible, their not on Kevin Cadogans level yet everyone would disagree just because the name 3eb is still touring
