I just rewatched all of the xmen movies and totally forgot about the butterfly effect and how the Logan movie occurred, he prevented on tragedy but the universe always has to replace it with something equal or greater

I really like farewell Logan part because there is a sweet Easter egg with Logan and storm kiss.in the 94' x-men cartoon show they were couple in one alternative reality and Logan had to give up her love to save charles .
As much as I love this movie, Logan surviving was pretty dumb. He himself has said, he can't survive drowning. He will drown, wake up and drown again a few times but eventually his body gives up and dies. They would have had to have found him very quickly for him to have survived, which they didn't.
How would he himself know, unless he tried. And if he tried and is alive, it would mean he is either lying, or he goes into some kind of hibernation in which he is brain dead until he gets out of the water. Personally I believe he lied.

I love the X MEN series music playing during stryker and Logan scene. Like everyone else, that is the ending it should have been. I love x men films but they are a mess, I think they did a great job making a series of filma about Wolverine-prof x and magneto. Marvel studios will have the challenge of actually making a X men film, with characters all getting development and shared time. It will be tough.
I'm kind of grateful they didn't add the part they took Trask into custody in the final film because it would ruin the moment at the end of the movie which ended with a good wholesome moment but they could have added it to the credits scene but at least we saw that Trask went to jail taking magneto's cell which gave us a sign that justice was served at the very end of the credits
