This is golden content- seriously, nobody else does this
Thanks mate!! Going back to make another video about this as my Thai is better and I have some contacts down there now
incredible channel! Coming to Thailand next week and will stay for 10 months, very excited
Wow just discovered your channel! Incredible insights and production! Thank you!
We walk so so much that day in Pattani 😰😰 something like 39,000 steps 😅😅
People were so friendly, helpful and very shocked we were there 🇹🇭 what a great adventure 🗺️🇹🇭

I love how much history there is to these places and how they're so much more than the media play them to be. Awesome video, keep it up, mate!
This was brilliant and your thai seems to be good enough to have a conversation.😊
thanks mate! appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave some feedback
Video goes viral bro❤️❤️❤️
Good work.informative video.
Thanks for your kind words!
Young man. That complacency you witnessed? It's called "...being lulled into a false sense of security".
until you experience some traumatic event, you would have a false sense of security. I experienced my friend was cut open and died in front of me, that actually made me see the world differently
Oh my god I am so sorry to hear that!
Nicest people in the whole country we love it down there, hospitality is ridiculous.
It really is one of the best places
This is basically CONTENT GOLD!
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you taking the time to leave such a nice comment and watch the video. Much love
Really fantastic video. The history in the southern provencies, as you touched on is rather complex and long. Unfortunatly the recent history has done a great disservice by limited the tourism potential for the region.
Thanks mate! I’m heading back to try and cover it better soon. Will likely take a Thai person with me so I can ask deeper questions there. Appreciate the watch and the comment and wishing you the best!
@@wehatethecold That is awesome, I can't wait to see your next video on the region. Your Thai is already pretty good, but I know exactly what you mean, I often bump up against my own linguistic limitations with interviews and conversations. But as I am sure you are well aware, the payoff is great to get help to push deeper. No doubt that people in that region have a lot to see, you got so much just scratching the surface.
I am planning a trip down to the region myself for a project at the end of the year. but with a far different scope.
Well done on learning some Thai mate, most people don't bother 😅 toorakig, ok I learnt one word of it 😅
Great video on a complex subject mate 👍
Cheers lad! And nice try on that pronunciation you're not actually too far off - it's too ra git. If you go to Thailand you can say pom bpen too ra git krap (means I'm a businessman). Glad you enjoyed!
nice video
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment
Plenty of people on a daily basis tell us of the negatives.
STUPID PEOPLE THAT IS.
Sorry to hear about that! I had never heard about this before in Thailand and was shocked when I found out. I wanted to share this video with other tourists because I don't think it's something most know about unless they are local or have lived there for a while. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Every country has a dark side . Come on!
Are you Sherlock Holmes?
Separitism thats the problem..the same problem in places like basque country in spain with the ETA..the IRA in northern ireland...the FLNC in the corsican island of france or the kudish pkk in turkey
Too bad you didn't make it to Narathiwat Province, which is to the east of Yala and Pattani, and which is the true "tip" of Thailand. Hopefully one day you can visit us here, as we are a bit lonely in this remote corner.😂
