Would've been cool if this was refined a bit and left in the game, so that the colossi focus their view on you and watch as you climb up them and stuff, their comes a point where you're in their blind spot so that's a bit awkward but seeing through dirge's eyes as he chases you and having the arrow hit him in the eye wouldve been insane
I've read somewhere that it doesn't work for the underwater one, and that the camera will just go back and forth from within its body to outside of it.
@otakughost Yes, in the Preview version. You just press R3 after you have the Eye of the Colossus. It works on Valus, Quadratus, Barba, Kuromori, Basaran, Celosia and Argus... that is you can see what they see before activation. The others are too far away for it to work.
@SengokuBasara99 I'm using the debug menu but it's only available in the Preview version which was an earlier developer version made before the final release. You hold R1 + SELECT to activate it.
I’d imagine that if this item was added back into the remake, it would have special effects such as blue lights coming out all the sides of the screen to represent when the colossus has clear visual of you, and then red lights to represent when the colossus is being aggressive.
There's also something cool with the eye the colossus,just activate it before the final stab,once you stab the death cutscene wont happen and you can walk around
I have a question about Pelagia. When fighting it, does the AI try to see you (not through walls) and if it doesn't, it starts moving in the opposite direction, or does it see you behind the circular thing in the middle of the water gazebos anyway, and just tries to see you behind the circular thing, and if it does, it walks away, and if you not behind it, it just keeps attacking you? Sorry if I just made your head explode. xD
Would you be able to go first person into Wander? I would REALLY love to see him fight Phalanx in first person. Just a thought ;) (Sorry to reply to an unrelated comment)

Avion's camera seems a bit jumpy, but interesting nonetheless. It's a shame this only works in a select few colossi before they activate.
