haha yep ,HOWEVER..... ive watched a bunch of his drift runs on video and that guy did seem like he damn near stopped as he was swinging around to enter that drift turn didnt he? It looked like he was really hung out farther and slower than most guys are entering that turn where Cleeter bumped into him.

I think the FF might actually be too small for an FD event. On top of that Cleeter would definitely have to get all of the track surface repaired first.
You can tell he's such a pro-drifter considering he is on your F-N door every turn and almost cutting you out on those chases but still barely letting you lead! Frickin badass!!
The “one take” reminds me of Top Gears celebrity timed lap they did every season, ..you ought to continue inviting car celebs , or celebs of anything to do a drift lap in your 240. Saw someone at Tibby's restaurant in Brandon wearing a Pistons Rods and Dad bods shirt. Gave him a hell yeah brother and he gave me a hell yeah brother back. Second time spotting merch in Brandon.
I was wearing a dad bods shirt to Publix and saw a brother in a stand back I built this sh*t myself shirt and from across the produce section gave him a big hell yeah brother and we are now friends... Here in Gardendale, Al, just north of Birmingham
Its the way he was flicking the throttle, you can hear that he punches it harder than cleet then also snaps off the throttle faster. Yes its more power but its also more confidence of knowing when to go and when to whoah.
Takeaways from this video: cleetus is a heck of a driver but he’s used to Vaughn and Chelsea who are much more full send with their cars. Matt is a heck of a driver for picking up on the freedom factory so quickly.
Vaughn and Chelsea are more of the “fun-haven’t” style where Matt is more of a pro competitor but all are excellent drifters in their own way. Love all this drift content on the channel!
I think it’s more of a, those 2 change how they drive when it’s with cleetus. They just go full send. Where as Matt was still in “pro mode” so to speak, not really just send it. Also he has never done anything with cleetus to know how he drives, vaugh and Chelsea have a lot of practice together and know how each are gonna do in situations.
Let's also observe his reactions when it does happen... the sincerity is real.. and he will be the first to admit that he did something wrong.. not try to blame it on someone/something else

The Bradenton strip has a good owner and management. Garret has enough on his hands. They should do cross promotion and such to help build both tracks but other than that they should stay in their lane.
I watch all content call me fanboy whatever, but I didn’t really like the drifting very much but I love it now just seeing the progression with ol cleet! It’s awesome , the crazy car control of drifting at high speed in the banks is just nuts!!!

With all The Drifters you have been drifting with and all the little secrets you've learned from all of them you may become one of the best Freedom Drifters around. Hell yeah brother. I think you should try to go into Pro FD would be hilarious.
Hey Cleetus great video man! This winter here's a fun project, I'd like to see old Jack stand do. Weld two of the same model cars together, side by side with an I beam or square tube framework, about 2 or 3 feet apart from each other, with the frame connections being able to pivot up or down, on removable pin like hinges, at each frame mount, (to easily separate the cars by pulling the hinge pins), but to account for the different angles of ground under each car, as they drift around corners side by side, or fly in together, drifting through the track entrance. That would be a challenge to any drift driver, because to drift and change drift directions in turns, both drivers would have to change their speed, faster or slower, because your car would always be on the same side but either leading or trailing. The challenge is definitely there and so is the comedy as each pair of drivers tries for the first time anywhere.... Parallel Drifting! The drivers have to work together to drift and turn or they'd look like two rookies no matter how good they both are! Lol. I Just think it would be a lot of fun, definitely different, would draw a lot of attention from the drift world, while creating a cool challenge for any drifters who tried it. Definitely use it as a special segment to fill in during events. Just thinking outside the box, again! Later Cleetus! Jpol.
Just think....it wasn't all that long ago that he was "trying out" drifting with leroy. His runs around FF with the new engine in Donnie and then the tandems on the last few videos look great to me. It seems like he can drive anything and he gets good at it very quickly.

Pro drivers seem to consistently carry more angle for longer. Not sure if that’s a mechanical difference or a confidence/control level Cleet hasn’t reached yet, or most likely a little of both.
They have way more power and mechanical grip so they can carry more momentum! Matt had way more grip in the car you could tell every time he was on throttle he would surge

Locked rear diff, supercharger torque/throttle response, and as much angle as a protractor will help with that 🤣😂

Hey Cleetus great video man! This winter here's a fun project, I'd like to see old Jack stand do. Weld two of the same model cars together, side by side with an I beam or square tube framework, about 2 or 3 feet apart from each other, with the frame connections being able to pivot up or down, on removable pin like hinges, at each frame mount, (to easily separate the cars by pulling the hinge pins), but to account for the different angles of ground under each car, as they drift around corners side by side, or fly in together, drifting through the track entrance. That would be a challenge to any drift driver, because to drift and change drift directions in turns, both drivers would have to change their speed, faster or slower, because your car would always be on the same side but either leading or trailing. The challenge is definitely there and so is the comedy as each pair of drivers tries for the first time anywhere.... Parallel Drifting! The drivers have to work together to drift and turn or they'd look like two rookies no matter how good they both are! Lol. I Just think it would be a lot of fun, definitely different, would draw a lot of attention from the drift world, while creating a cool challenge for any drifters who tried it. Definitely use it as a special segment to fill in during events. Just thinking outside the box, again!

Just think....it wasn't all that long ago that he was "trying out" drifting with leroy. His runs around FF with the new engine in Donnie and then the tandems on the last few videos look great to me. It seems like he can drive anything and he gets good at it very quickly.
No better way to improve in Donnie than learn the Vette drift King himself.

Pro drivers seem to consistently carry more angle for longer. Not sure if that’s a mechanical difference or a confidence/control level Cleet hasn’t reached yet, or most likely a little of both.
Pro drifters have a better suspension allowing them to do so. Helps them gain the extra angle they need, better but expensive parts.
A lot of it will fall on the chassis setup and engine power difference.
It's a mechanical grip/ suspension set up thing. grip in drift is way more important than a lot of people understand.
They have way more power and mechanical grip so they can carry more momentum! Matt had way more grip in the car you could tell every time he was on throttle he would surge

Comparing Matt's car to garrets is much like saying a highschool football player is good, bit not as good as a professional .
The two cars are on different levels and serve a very different purpose .
