Role debut of dutch soprano Cristina Deutekom as Lady Macbeth. She loved this role but unfortunately did not perform it too often.
Un fenómeno vocal en TODO sentido dicho. Totalmente infravalorado.
She would have been nearly 60 here - sounding fabulous! Interesting to note that this would be around the same time as those concerts she sang Turandot's aria fabulously as well.
Un feu-croisé merveilleux et terrifiant. Une voix colossale et somptueuse. Une artiste unique et galactique. Respect !
Marvelous Cristina ❤The best Macbeth ever heard after Callas ❤❤❤
So easy!!!!!!!!!!! Brava!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such peculiar and lovely soprano voice.
Fairly bright in colour but penetrating without being shrill.
One of my favourite coloratura sopranos, ever.
XxSaruman82xX chest voice participation in her high notes, hence they are full and bright...they don’t make them like that nowadays at all.
@@AP-dd3xp Too true, my friend, too true. Have you heard Saioa Hernandez btw? Her voice is very similar to Deutekom's actually. Both are true spinto sopranos.
Gorgeous, effortless sound from top to bottom, but she irons out all the trills, and the scales are not smooth (even though her trademark "turkey" effect is kept to a minimum here).
In fact she was here lazy or idk, but she had really good trills bro
There is an example ua-cam.com/video/klSYSQ6v-HU/v-deo.html (7:23)
Impeccable coloraturas, silly people........................................................................
@@evelynkatz1301 Ellipses only require three dots. Your punctuation is about as messy as Deutekom's execution of the scales.
