Man, you are so great. I was playing hardball for a long long while, I quit several years ago. BUT, I also started hitting off the tee again, and my swing is so different, and my song (and this is so important) *completely* changed, he went random hits, to consistent contact. This season, he grew a ton and not as great, but gets the comment "such a nice swing, man when he makes contact, that thing will fly" Which I am sure is a common saying. His swing got there, last 2 years been working this and now from strike outs to many foul outs, I hope this coming week or so we get some infield hits. Progression, that's what I see, not failure, progression, we move we work!
This is money!! The essence of the program
My son and I love your channel.
He is 5u now and is launching balls off the tee with a modified version of what you teach.
Thank you. Finally got the feel for the stretch. Now the snap feels very sudden and not like I am forcing it. It just happens. I feel the stretch along my back from my waist to my armpit on the side closest to the catcher.
thank you Teacherman. much respect
How does this channel not have more subscribers. This is awesome content
Would love to see you break down Jarred Kelenics swing changes
I've watched numerous videos on your channel, and I've noticed that you frequently emphasize the importance of tilting the bat downward with the hands. However, I believe that the tilt actually originates from the hips, which subsequently leads to the bat's tilt. In essence, it's not solely the wrists that create the tilt, but rather the initial movement of the hips that triggers the bat to achieve the desired angle you've been teaching.
Good observation but it's actually the shoulders that tilt.
@@rjlovell1 I agree with the importance tilting of the shoulder but I believe that hip hinge and it tilt start the sequence up the kinetic chain up to the shoulder. The shoulder tilt drives the bat into the correct plane into the zone. I would say try it yourself. Pick up a bat and try not to tilt (unhinge the hip) before the shoulder tilt and then vice versa. I think you will find that your swing gets stuck. If you can not feel it, slow down you swing. We don’t have to agree, it just an observation I had.
Do you do complete breakdowns and video analysis of players and their mechanics? It would be cool to see you make a video and post it on UA-cam, id love to see a breakdown of some classic old school players and todays players as well
This Guy Rules
See how much the head moves on the “tilt”?
Thank you for all the great content. Question, about the top hand during the swing sequence. I notice a lot of kids have a flat wrist which is making them drag their top hand elbow through way before their hands. Do you recommend there being a flex in the wrist of the top hand? What are the big leaders do?
Teacherman, I have a question for you, but let me preface with my backstory.
I'm a left handed hitter, and all my life I have been taught hands to the ball/swing down. Recently, I have been changing to snap and tilt, and even though I have always hit the ball 'hard', the power generated now is much greater.
So my question is: Should my inner right elbow be hurting when I swing? It has been bothering me since changing my mechanics.
Can you make your videos in HD or 4K?
What do you think of Pete Alonso’s swing? Is it a push?
what do i do if i don’t have a leg kick. my swing is just like ohtanis but i don’t have the same pop (obviously)
My son used to have really bad elbow drag, but was still a pull hitter. We are now fixing his swing which means he can get the bat into the zone even quicker. The challenge now, is he is way early on everything. Not sure what to do as he's facing 75mph now and is early, next year in High school he will be facing 80+, should we just stay focused on correcting the swing or is there anything we can do to help prevent him from being so early.
Work on letting the ball travel deeper
In bp make him go oppo 75% of the time. Then ask him to hit the odd one pullside(which he can already do). Should get him ok with the ball traveling deeper. Also set up the tee deep. GL!
Great bat speed for an old fella.
Same Swing Rules Apply For Slowpitch?
What is the corner? Corner of what
I'm in a slump right now what can I do to stop popping up
So many coaches teach don’t drop your back shoulder and teach the kids to push the bat. With this swing, you can let the ball travel deeper…
No, you can't let the ball get deeper.
@@rjlovell1 what are you talking about
Youre avg hitter trying that snap and tilt you're cooked once the backside collapses its over for you lol
For sure- If you can't do it, then dont. Stay average. Or slightly above if you're really good. But never be among the best. And if you can learn to do it properly, like anything else in life- enjoy :)
Yes. I love the haters. More more more.

@Sterling Pilgrim have you ever watched Aaron Judge hit??
I am a pitcher. If I see this guys swing in the on deck circle, I already know it's a strikeout😂. Fastball up and in, and changeups away he's going to be spun into the ground.
AJ, Pete Rose and George Brett all swing like this. Ok, "pitcher."😂😂
fraud
This is trash 😂 please don't do this
Please post a video that shows us a better way then.
That’s why you see every player doing it my guy
Sorry you got cut from your high school team
