Hello.I have an issue with my BMW. I have watched a lot of videos. But not sure which applies to my issue. So ...my coolant levels started to say overheating issues minutes after driving and my car begins to slow and ac gets hot. Upon checking my coolant levels were low... very low however I never got a pop up saying they were low. anyway. I refilled my coolant but am still having my car coolant overheated. I don't see any leaks and my radiator fan seems to be going fine.
You must have a leak somewhere, but remember the coolant can leak OUTSIDE or INSIDE. What that means is if you can't find coolant leaking outside from anywhere, then you may have an inside leak (head gasket) where coolant is leaking inside the engine and getting burned. Now usually when you have a head gasket leak your exhaust will be white in colour. One of the easiest things to do is fill your system when its cold. Don't start the engine, put a pressure tester on it. They are not that expensive and you can pump it up to about 10lbs safely, see this quick old (very old) 30 second video of mine, it shows you what you can find with a pressure tester on a cold engine. ua-cam.com/video/LYikQA98zJw/v-deo.html You can find cheap pressure testing kits on Amazon, this one is on sale for Prime Day Today amzn.to/3WqCmjC
@@GarageKing thanks for the response! I will get to it asap with this information. I've been stuck. Even my mechanic has no clue where to start. I will show him this first thing in the morning. 👌
@@JT-Wins Here is a quick video on how to check the coolant pump with no special tools. If you have a scanner it makes it easier, but you can check the pump this way. ua-cam.com/video/2JCRRBUlX3s/v-deo.html
Hey so you mentioned mileage correction and said you found out how to do it? I’ve ordered this and waiting to come in, can you tell me how you found it? Thanks!
See the 8:00min mark. I found that there is way more than the service function page if you go into the manufacturer, and then you can get into all the modules.
Xtool is good as well. I never tried the Autel so I really can't say much regarding Autel. I do prefer Launch so far with all the scanners that I have used.
Pretty cool video, I love my Launch.
Thank you for the comment, I love this thing !!
Thanks for the review
Anytime and thanks for the comment
good review 👍
Thank you

Also upon looking at my coolant levels. It doesn't look like it's shooting coolant to circulate either. But the coolant still disappeared.
