Here are the final figures revealed for both Masters of the Universe Origins and Masterverse at San Diego Comic Con 2023!

Origins was such a beautiful line, so much nostalgia and fun. It is really sad the line will end like this.
Mattel Creations is HORRIBLE for international buyers. You have to pay more than 30 USD just for shipping, while sites like BBTS ask for 8.USD.
Well, here in Brazil the line is mostly done, except for Meka Neck that is just not sold amounts from North America, since november last year.
We brazilians are buying from BBTS and KidInn, but moving to Mattel Creations is just killing it for us 😭
RIP Origins, you was AMAZING while lasted.
Same her from Germany. Moving the Vintage Origins to Creations is like the final Nail into the Coffin for a lot of Collectors here and I´m one of them. I´m realy mad about this.
Agreed, anyone outside of the US are never going to be able to collect these anymore!!! It sucks big time. - Wish Mattel cared about their interntional fans also!

Mattel has gone from making it difficult for everyone to get the origin characters to now a whole new level of complication for collectors. Bummer!

@@interghost wouldn’t say that, but they have walled it off to those who refuse to shop online but I at this point so few people were getting the figures reliably from stores I think this might actually help the line as opposed to kill

Not psyched about the standard Origins figures being Mattel Creations exclusives going forward that is a middle finger to non-usa customers who have to pay expensive delivery costs or import tax.
Thats if they arent sold out too... Mattel have basically gone and made these US exclusive, and even then, super hard to get.

No, they aren't becoming exclusives. Extendar and Sy-Klone are confirmed for retail.

I just can't believe Mattel is going the MC route with whatever is left of the Origins collection. This is the lowest of the low, I don't know how Mattel can go any lower than this.

Me also. I feel like they are pushing the line out for this dumb Filmation one. They say they pretty much done everyone but they haven’t even touched the Power of Grayskull stuff yet or PoP. What about just making new characters like they have been? I’m fine with them pulling out of big box retail but they could have continued this line well into the future and sold to online stores.

I do hope the vintage origins line will be easy for fans to get and handled like the second wave of grizzlors as a made to order release and not a timed release where things sell out in minutes. Also curious to know if future unique characters will continue to be made for origins like they have been doing like Lady Slither, Frog Monger etc.. Excited for the Filmation inspired Origins style figures hoping those will be at retail.
Preorders would be the best way for them. It’s less stressful ever since they’ve started doing that
Easy to get or not, still it's (for us in Mexico) USD $30 plus for s&h on top of the cost of the product. This decision is going to make sooo many collectors calling it quits. It is a terible decision.
I don't think these will be hard to get.

What the heck, why can't they have the other vintage guys at retail, or at least at amazon, with mattel creations most of us collecters who don't use mattel creations, but want the figures, will never get them! who else agrees?

I do hope that Mattel Creations creates a store hub in Europe. Otherwise shipping all these figures from USA is going to be eye-wateringly expensive.

I need that Rokkon in my life, he was a fav as a kid! Extendar was great when I was a kid too. Born in 81 so I had a lot of the later released stuff.

I'm in the UK, how am I going to buy an Origins figure from an American website? it's going to be really expensive for shipping and customs taxes, it was so much simpler and cheaper to buy from Amazon in the UK and now it's going to be virtually impossible for me to buy from Mattel's website, this is very disheartening and I don't understand why Mattel wants to make it so difficult for it's international customers???

The last new MOTU I was able to get at a store was the Rottor at Walmart, 99 percent of the Origin’s figures I bought have been online. Mattel really should look at doing a subscription model so we can get locked in to the remaining 20 figures.

It feels like that Buzz-off, Jitsu, Sorceress, Stratos wave killed the Origins line, they loaded both Walmart and Target with that wave right after Christmas that year. Neither store at least in my area has been able to clear them out yet. Huge screw up by somebody, every wave leading up to that one was selling pretty fast.

It's going to strange to look back on a line where Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms and Slamurai were wide releases but newly tooled characters were online exclusives.
Will there ever be more She-Ra characters in the future?
So my Origins collecting just ended. 😞 It’ll be difficult and even more expensive to get them in the UK now. The CARTOON series looks great though!

i got tracking for he-skeletor 3 months later they refunded me saying they ran out of he-skeletor
im happy for the line but i also see the future

Very excited by all these reveals. And equally concerned about the announcement to move origins to Mattel Creations. I hope this only applies to the US and not other markets. MC really is too expensive for international collectors (shipping, mostly)

We always eventually get our hands on these figures, just another hurdle.
The sculpts have stepped it up along with playability.
I hope the molds are thicker, but I doubt without significant price increase.

That's really disappointing news about Origins. It being a retail line is what got me into it.

Well hopefully it won't be too hard to get the remaining vintage figures from Mattel creations. I'm hoping they will email folks in advance to let them know when a new wave is dropping. Because once I get the vintage characters I might just be finished with this line. But there did look to be a few figures from filmation that I might get, just for the items they come with.
That snout spout is very 200X. I wish they would did He-Ro toys. He-ro needs more.
I wish they would do a Mekaneck and prince adam on card. Waiting for two bad as well.
Let’s just hope the Mattel Creations exclusive origins will later be available at Ollie’s. Or even Big Lots.

Dan lam hoping bbts and eet will get this figures if not then it will be probably difficult to get these figures. Thank you for all you do for motu collectors for myself who grew up with the motu.
Snout spout looks intimidating and equivalent to he man version of juggernaut.
Considering they were able to incorporate the mechanisms into these new figures, here’s hoping they could do deluxe rereleases of characters like Meckaneck and Rattlor, so every character has their original features.

Two issues with going to Mattel creations only. First is will there be enough stock for everyone? And second, is having to spend $50 CAD per figure after shipping and import fees. Kind of a kick in the balls. I only bought like 5 at a retail store, rest of my collection has been bought online. But from a Canadian online store or even BBTS and EE.

This is why I will NEVER buy any Mattel figures ever again, as I really went for it with Origins... but it is now IMPOSSIBLE to collect here in the UK

We still need a 200X series sorceress, something Mattel has never done, so I hope these cartoon versions will stray into that series as well.
I’m curious, as collectors of the Origins line, are these new “cartoon” versions considered a part / sub-set of Origins and a must have to complete the line, or are some of you considering this a whole new line? The completely different sculpts and size has me on the fence.

I have no issue with the remaining (some bottom of the barrel) vintage figures being on Mattel creations - they are not Retailer friendly - the Filmation cartoon collection is!

I'll never understand how or why there isn't one worker for this brand (or Hasbro) who could pose or display the figures properly, let alone in exciting action poses. It's just one of the calling cards for this line, so you'd think the way they're posed would be important.

The previous New Etermnia had parts that made them pretty different from their more vintage looks, but the more recent ones, barely have a different.
