Yes, I know the art is a picture of Maridia instead of Torvus Bog. I couldn't find any good pictures of Torvus's submerged temple.
Honestly, Metroid is probably the greatest game series to date. Here's hoping Metroid Prime 4 is even better, still.
I completely agree. Metroid is hands down the best game series out there; great story, music, gameplay, everything is perfect. Although I feel like it hasn't been a hit to other gamers since Super Metroid, but that quickly changed when AM2R was released. I never actually played it but apparently it was mind blowing. I'm currently playing Samus Returns, it's pretty fun but not in my opinion it will never beat the original Metroid II: Return of Samus or any of the other classic metroid games

I prefer the original game boy Return of Samus, mainly for its classic game style and gameplay. Although one thing I enjoyed about Samus Returns for the 3DS was the pictures they showed that demonstrated the chozodians involvement with the Metroids.

Oh for sure. It instantly added a new attitude towards the Chozodians which definitely foreshadows a new game plan. Not quite sure what it is though. My guess is Prime 4 will probably give a big hint about it though since the remade games are pretty much linked to the prime series now. I still don't know what Nintendo has in terms for their next game after Metroid Prime 4, my idea was a new Super Metroid but based off discussions I've seen the idea is they probably will not be making a Super Metroid remake since the original was so perfect (But it just makes sense to me after that Ridley battle at the end of Samus Returns that they would remake it) but who knows.
Metroid Prime is not just a game, it's an experience.
I still remember my first playthroughs of Prime and Echos like it was yesterday.
I'll never forget when I first played Metroid Prime 3 and arrived at SkyTown and heard the glorious music while exploring the vast area.. my jaw dropped the entire time.

Waterproof earbuds aren't necessarily rated for underwater use though. It just means that you can wear them while sweating from a workout, or drop them in a puddle, sink, toilet, etc without needing to worry so long as you fish it out in a timely manner. Plus, water distorts sound, so you probably wouldn't be able to make out much of the music anyways. What WOULD be cool is a full-flush scuba suit with earpieces no water can get between.

Super Metriod’s Lower Brinstar is an undying leitmotif and I have no complaints about it.
Yes, and that was remixed for Torvus Bog subterranean in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, and remixed again for the Water Caves in Samus Returns.
The song itself strikes nostalgia in a somber way unlike anything i've ever heard before. Alien yet comforting and soothing.

Everytime I listen to Metroid music, I remember how fucking great the series is. Specially Super Metroid. Still to this day, it blows my mind how ahead of its time it was.

I love the music of metroid primes 1-2-3 they have always exuded a sense of calm for me when ever I'm stressed. Just go to a nice quite room, look up a sound track and all the stress just melts away. The music for these games is just beautiful.

Because it is a remix of Lower Brinstar. There's only a handful of actually new music tracks with each new Metroid game, the rest are all remixes.

I was trying to convey the feeling of being in the depths of Torvus Bog, so whale noises didn't really fit. It was actually surprisingly hard to find decent underwater ambience without them.
