I think the main feature I would love is the checkin and policy push. We use Jamf for Apple devices and the changes are ready within seconds to minutes rather than 4hrs or longer.
Hi @lifelikejupiter, Happy New Year! yeah Jamf is definitely superior for Apple, however the flexibility of being able to use Intune for devices, as well as Apple, allows a for a broader use. Are you currently using Intune for other devices at the moment?
Wishing you and your family a very happy new year ahead Andy, stay safe and stay blessed and wish to see thousands of new technical troubleshooting videos on Azure, Microsoft Entra others on the upcoming new year
Really cool video Andy, I love your Intune content. I'm an Intune administrator at a large enterprise and this helped a lot to catch all the updates happened since November. Keep up the good work, its much appreciated!

Looking forward to these changes. I just added Intune Suite to see if these features where available and they are not. I had to create a package to deploy Remote Help App, will be so ready for the new app manager.
These new features will help a lot! There is another feature Microsoft were talking about a few years back, that is still missing in Intune - Warranty information for devices. Of course Microsoft Surface got it. But it would be great if we could get that info from HP, Dell, Lenovo etc.
great video. Nice features being added to Intune. Especially win32 app deployment becoming more easy. Have worked with application deployment on SCCM servers and application deployment through group policies
Thank you for the reply. It was available with Add-on named Microsoft Intune Enterprise App Management. It can be added as individual add-on to Microsoft subscriptions that includes Intune@@AndyMaloneMVP
we currently use the APs talking to Microsoft NPS (with RADIUS) for users' mobile WIFI connection, so user can log in the WIFI with their AAD credentials. So, is it possible by using the intune Cloud PKI feature for the WIFI credentials (as the latest Android version doesn't support the username and password only)? I presumed intune Cloud PKI is working a similar way with SCEPman, right?
very excited for the next gen win32 app support and app updating - that's going to be a game changer, especially for orgs that are working on Auto Pilot and InTune integration. Some of the apps we deploy are very niche; and I'm curious to hear if there's a way that us customers can contribute any meta data to seed that information to be used in the catalog (pending the apps don't exist in there already).
Win32 app improvements are nice, but would think the logo would be populated automatically also? Didn't look like it was. Maybe they are tapping into winget. But this will save time for basic apps that don't require any additional configuration which I guess still would require SCCM.
Have they sorted out Support/Deployment in Intune for Hybrid Joined devices yet? Last time I looked at it, it was a hot random mess of what worked, what didn't work, what 'should' have worked but didn't etc
Always intresting stuff when Heremy is present. Nice video! Do we know when companies without EA get access to all copilot features including teams and also security copilot mentioned here? When will it show up for CSPs? Also copilot chat showed up in teams recently taunting me for not having a license I yet can not buy 😢
Microsoft 365 is Microsoft Office & communication & collaboration solution. Whereas Microsoft 365 is essentially a cloud based PC service offered by Microsoft.

everything takes so long. its one big waiting game.

Very happy to see the win32 app deployment becoming a lot easier. Thank you Andy and Jeremy for the information!
Wonderful session Andy! Thanks a bunch for this vid!

Absolutley thanks so much. Cool stuff coming :-)

Glad it was helpful!
22:20 I love this
Wow, talking about Dream Team 👍💪.
Totally in love with the Next Gen Win32 App Support.
This is great, love the new Intune changes. Have a great New Year sir.
Thanks, you too!
@12:00 Cool, I'm developing that now in C with React as front end. Thinking about making the project open source...
I’d love to see that👍😊

Any update about when would Intune start supporting Win32 App direct update option? It was not listed in Microsoft Intune In-development page.
I’m sure this is in public preview now

Honestly, this would be a question for support.microsoft.com or try the Microsoft Tech Community 😊

This looks great and lots of interesting updates , Any idea if this will be available under public preview ?
It is now. Internet access soon
I’m unable to see this under public preview, should I change something?
WPA3 was announced in January 2018. Why they have still not included WPA3 support in Intune?

Yes, they have made major changes here and will continue to make changes in the coming year
Any Endpoint Management summit in India?
No idea, sorry
Nice that its becoming just like PDQ with the real time stuff

I feel your frustration. It will arrive eventually I'm sure.
Is it demanding course in future.
May i learn this tool as a fresher
Like all things you start at the beginning
Endpoint Central from Zoho is still better than Intune for deployment of applications and updating them and doing windows updates.
Are you planning on attending the Modern Endpoint Management Summit 2024 in Paris?
Unfortunately I’m scheduled to teach that week, so regretfully I’ll probably not be attending
Whats the difference between microsoft 365 and windows 365 ?
Microsoft 365 is Microsoft Office & communication & collaboration solution. Whereas Microsoft 365 is essentially a cloud based PC service offered by Microsoft.
@@AndyMaloneMVP Windows 365*. Thanks for explanation
they really pushing for these copilot licenses hard... so far, meh, useful, but not game changing
Wouldn't be surprised if even Microsoft didn't quite know what copilot can be genuinely useful for....
All nice, too bad you have to pay extra for these. And too bad that extra cost is in some cases prohibitive... (Cheaper to use a good alternative)
