Hi everyone, I live in North Wales where the Starlings dropped dead out of the sky - I also witnessed it FIRST HAND. The starlings were NOT evading a predator, there were no predatory birds in the sky and they were dead BEFORE they hit the ground. Not all of the Starlings were effected in the same way, but in that day the overhead power lines were humming far louder and at a different resonant frequency than usual, which had the effect of creating a feeling of static in the air when stood closely enough to them.

In my case a Hawk came around. Thousands of small black birds come to my neighborhood in October. The week before Halloween. Can set your watch to it. Anyways I've seen this twice now. In 2020 a hawk swooped in.
I knew where the leader was. Well the whole flock flew before the leader did.
By the time the leader did take off it was surrounded by thousands. It literally couldn't go up. So it took a nose dive down. Right on pavement. I'd say a good 3 to 400 gone. 🤷♂️ it happens.

Something strange here because if were just a case of the birds accidentally flying into the ground there would be a lot of injured but still alive birds with broken wings or other injuries flopping around. Why are they all stone dead so quickly?

i saw 2 at the end randomly move & we dont know how long after the initial footage until someone came out & filmed the street. they all look like their necks broke & most didnt even touch the ground if u watch carefully, they flew down then up & away....not that mysterious

My guess is seeing that the majority of birds flew away, those dead on the ground died were the first ones that hit the ground on impact and was crushed by the other birds landing on top of them.

Most lived. Some hit the ground and died on impact. None "fell" out of the sky. None were dead before impact. Flock lost it's bearings, just like crashes at air shows.
This happens every couple of years it's uncommon but not so much as to not see a video like this every now and then

I fly drones and both my friends and myself have experienced a series of drone losses within a 2 week period. All drones were lost just to the north of Newcastle in the UK. All our drones suffered exactly the same faults and died as a result. All our losses were on separate days and within 4 miles of the same spot. Something very powerful hit our drones and destroyed the electronics.

Planes some times fly through voids of air causing them to drop several feet. These pockets are normally pockets of gasses that are less dense than air. Perhaps that's what the flock ran into.

Simple - a swarm of birds were obviously being attacked by a bird of prey, and some of the fleeing birds accidently smashed-into the ground instead of pulling-up. No mystery about it whatsoever.
This happened here in Davis County, Utah, last year. It was swans falling from the sky, 10lb birds that had flown thru a lightning storm !

Extremely small and powerful high winds that act like a hand pushing down on said objects. Pilots have experienced this too not just birds. Similar to huge rogue waves hitting the beach.

It may be a reason. But the electric lines are right in the flight path of these birds. So, an electric shock can be the reason. But the lack of spark and smoke is confusing..

The birds were pushed downward by a super strong downdraft- as you can see birds recovering from the push downward and the birds that did not survive were the ones who hit the concrete on the ground.

It's happened before and it sure as hell wasn't a predator. It happened in a small town in the US on the same day a year apart and several more times. Once it was blamed on a reflection where the birds thought it was water instead of concrete. The original incident u can see men in hazmat suits going around collecting the birds.

They were flying in very close formation, the lower birds struck a power line, any of the others that in turn touched them also were electrocuted. Sad but explainable IMO.
@Silver Bells I’m afraid they do, friend of mine lost his Eagle to a power line. Normally if they are just sitting on them they are not touching adjacent lines, so no problem, but if they touch two at the same time you have a problem, actually at high voltage you don’t have to touch, just proximity is enough. Those birds were so close together they completed the circuit between the lines. If you were able to zoom in, you would see that only the birds in tight formation were effected, anywhere there was sufficient gap between them they wouldn’t have been effected. It’s the most logical explanation for what happened IMO.

Possibly an emp eloctro magnetic pulse. I believe could explain this behavior because it would confuse the birds internal altimeter and they crash into things even the ground. It happens to aircraft also.

I too, have seen this before. It was in the year 1997 in the NYC borough of Queens. A big mystery. Every morning, scores of dead birds lying on the street stiff as boards. This went on for a few weeks when it was announced that this was caused by West Nile Virus infection. It was late winter-early spring and the birds were migrating back from southern regions where they had spent the winter.....
It was eerie and almost Biblical in feeling. I had never seen anything like this. Spooky too. One big mystery was where did North American birds acquire west Nile Virus from?????

The experts got it wrong. There is no predator that caused the deaths of hundreds of birds. Plus even if that were true, where is the predator? Wouldn't it be eating the other birds has? Anyway speculations aside this has happened several times in the past . In 2020 it happened in USA in some states. This is a real mystery.
Also Bees are dying at an extreme rate. Even frogs are dying off in droves. Frogs, Bees and Birds are important part of the ecosystem

Looked like something blasted into the middle of the flock knocking them dead, while the ones that were on the outermost edge were able to stop themselves from hitting the ground and fly away.
You would think a predator that size would be seen.
This is caused by the flux in our electro-magnetic field. The birds lose their sense of direction and sometimes fly into the ground because of this. It is happening more now, because the Earth is moving towards a pole shift.

Looks as if some of the birds got disorientated following the group without realising they were so close to the ground.
IMO The birds did not fall from the sky dead.
They were flying/diving downwards in close formation to avoid a bird of prey like e.g. sardines under attack in a tight shoal for safety.
The ones that lie dead on the ground (after impact and well under 10% of the flock) are the ones in the flock that hit the ground flying as their view of the ground was obscured by those in front.
If the birds were already dead in the air they couldn't possibly have been in such a tight formation.
Even if they were already dead in the air and released from a big net they would obviously have drifted apart during their fall and would have been travelling much more slowly,at terminal velocity which is much slower than the speed they were travelling at.
Then you would think someone would see the bird of prey on the ground snacking on one ? Unless he / she flew off with it in its talons. lol
Swarm intelligence is amazing mechanism which ensures higher survival possibility,
This is a swarm of birds, they don't follow any leader, they follow each other.
In this case there is a collective intelligence failure, while deciding the trajectory,
I think the birds where trying to pass through a space enclosed in 3 sides, the birds in the bottom side, was cramped for space, they were pushed down by birds from the top, hitting the ground.
In a swarm, as the components will be following the one in neighbourhood, there is a chance when one bird hit the ground, the next one too hitting the ground.
By the way, not all those birds are dead, some can recover, they are injured.
We are sure gonna hear these words often : THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

This is so disturbing … I wondered if our satellites can bring them down like that!
This happens quite a lot, seen it happen in Central America. We were visiting my grandparents (who lived in a tropical country). I was a kid when I first witnessed fish falling out of the sky I was so scared, I begged my parents to take us back home, but my grandma explained the "phenomenon" which was not but simply mother nature doing her job. Because this was a tropical country where it rained a lot and hurricanes were a norm, sometimes these hurricanes would lift and carry fish and anything else that may be in it's way and naturally drop them along the way, thats how they end up in villages and neighborhoods, it's not a norm but it happens and if you live there you'd know that. Let me tell you... the smell OH MY LORD!!!! the residents clean up as much as visibly possible but what doesn't get picked up man it STINKS!!!! but yeah it's not new or the world coming to an end it's just mother nature playing twisted games.

There is a sparrow in Leeds that flies to Cape Town for the summer. It flies back to Leeds in the Cape winter, which is the Leeds summer. It always ends up in the same gardens. Its name is Graham. Please remember Graham in your meditations.

Reminded me of the army landing from the present into the future on "Tomorrow War". These birds seemed to be flying down. Many but certainly not all died.
