Born York. Studied History at Oxford in great part because I grew up in an amazing place. This video is the best I’ve seen about York. Talking to the right people in the right tone. And not a silly ghost story in sight. Many thanks.
York is simply stunning...
I just love it...❤️
The white rose....
Thousands of years of history...
I will hopefully will be returning soon.
The shambles is one of my favourite...
Back in time there used to be butchers shops...🌺🌼🌸🏵️🌹
Really enjoyed this guys. Very well made.
Only negative when you visit York is very little York stuff to buy. It's all London!!
Nice idea, to reuse the old buildings in a modern way.
If pictures and soundtrack fit together, one calls this synchronal.
Очень красиво)))
That means very good
I lived in York and died at the battle of Towton I see the main bridge as wooden and see people dressed in period clothes when I visit, strange I know.. Some people just know, I feel it.
Do you see much of the other 30,000 who died at Towton.
Oh please don’t use old medieval building as a Chinese restaurant.
Really didn't think the top comment would be racist

Maximum 40 years-That's all. The entire British people will know what is the real racism and what is the real fascism. Till that point they all will be misusing the terms like racism ,Islamophobia etc due to the political correctness and will be blaming the one who dare to say the truth .Wait and see......Good bye western civilization....Good bye..
Whyever not? They have been all sorts of things in their time! Why not a Chinese restaurant?
Why not? The Romans played their role in York. And the Vikings. Why not the Chinese
Over 2000 years? Nope. We aren’t there yet.
There were people in Britain before Ceasar
David Steph I’m well aware of that. But York will not be 2000 years old until 2071.
@@freddieellis8449 well York was founded c. 71 AD as Eboracum then later it would be called Jorvik. by the Vikings and then in the 14th(fourteenth century it was called "Yerk" a few century's later it was rename to YORK and the city has not changed it's name ever since
