  • Hey guys welcome to another video I know the sound is a little off in this video but I still hope you all enjoy I’m trying to improve as I go in editing sounds voice overs etc. Here in this video I was driving to one of my favorite states farms fields back roads. I love the country back roads to drive on it’s so peaceful. I appreciate you all so much for the feedback support and subscribing I’m doing this for fun and as a hobby I’m a little disappointed I can’t record on my head and narrate what I’m doing. I’ll try to make it the best possible for your enjoyment. Sorry it was night time. Thanks for watching 😃

    the view from the camera on the dash is good. Nice to have a new truck like that. Except for the warning beeping as you said.

      Yeah that’s when you’re trying to slide tandems on trailer and the seat belt isn’t fastened also the blind spot alert on right is annoying at times and the air pressure tire monitoring system beeps when it very cold outside it thinks you’re low on air 🤦🏼‍♂️ thanks for watching and feedback

    I definitely enjoy the content of the videos. Thank you for all you do god bless you and please be safe. I used to drive OTR back in my early 20’s but I’m now a school bus driver so watching your videos brings back many memories 💜💜

      Thank you so much for watching, feedback, and the support glad you’re enjoying the content. Yes OTR is great but it’s hard sometimes on the family and kids it gets sad and lonely but I’m doing this for them. I appreciate you driving a school bus and I know my kids would appreciate you taking them to school to get their education. 🤝

    Enjoying riding along with you. Now I must say this...probably not a good idea showing your elog in sleeper and you're out and doing pti and getting coffee...have we all done it...sure but not on camera...there are a lot of prime inc haters and I'm sure your company is watching. You dont what to have to explain falsifying your log...cheers...looks forward to the next vlog. Safe travels.

    • @RunningOTR
      @RunningOTR  7 місяців тому +3

      Hey sir thanks for watching and feedback yes I agree the reason I left it in sleeper is I still had half hour rest brake left then when my hrs are back I usually switch to off duty then go to on duty and select vehicle inspection even if I already did it before my hours are back. I usually log about 10-20min of on duty vehicle inspection time. Yes and you’re right there is a lot of haters who are there ready to tell on you as soon as they see something maybe they get extra points or perks for telling on someone idk 🤷‍♂️ I mean I’m not falsifying the log even though it looks like it because like I said I usually wait till my hours are fully back before I go on duty but if the company checks my logs they will see I do a daily pre trip inspection before driving and it’s logged on duty in my logs so they really couldn’t say much at that point. Thanks for watching and the support with the feedback I appreciate you 🤝

    I could never run reefer, to many messed up hours. Plus my body can't switch sleeping patterns like that.

      @RunningOTR  7 місяців тому +1

      Yeah bro it’s actually hard on sleep random hours etc you’re definitely accurate on that 💯 percent but the money is better in reefer.

    Is it normal to bounce that many miles to pick up loads? Is there nowhere else for Prime to pick up in Oklahoma? Just curious. I Love the drives of western OK and Western KS. Very peaceful!

      You're running the road..understand about paying for your own fuel but you're better off topping off the fuel tanks rather than limiting what you purchase because 1. You will use the extra fuel at some point and 2. It will improve your fuel mileage the more full your tanks are not to mention reducing the risk of fuel gelling in extremely cold temperatures.

    Might be dumb question but how can you tell how many gallons you put on the passenger side fuel tank?

    • @RunningOTR
      @RunningOTR  7 місяців тому

      The way I do it is I put both fuel nozzles in the tanks and go to the right side fuel that one first so I can keep track on how many gallons going in and money. After I hit the certain point like 60 gallons I will take that one out close tank and go fill the left side. I usually never fill up all the way I just fuel what they give me for fuel surcharge
