- Prototype flights at the 2010 AKA Grand Nationals in Seaside, OR... A new kite design from John Barresi in conjunction with ITW, the Kymera was conceived as a blend of old-school and new-school to produce both trick and precision/loading ability in a wide wind range.
Built to drive and track with sharp, stable cornering when loaded up, the Kymera is a great kite for sharp banking turns and arcs with small powerful inputs, backed up by its smooth style throughout a wide range of tricks.

This is unbelievable. So cool!!! I am just getting a hang of simple tricks on my dual line, I can’t begin to understand how you get it to fly that way in some of those shots
This kite has weights and line catchers called something else I cannot recall.....makes it easier to flip and roll.
The control is just fantastic.

The way it flies reminds me quite strongly of the Benson Phantom. I mean that as a compliment by the by. ;¬) I don't fly as much as I should, but I have an ancient Fizz Phantom. It's a bit stretched in places, but some longer standoffs and a leech line helped.

Hi, I suggest you post on the forum at Kitelife dot com for more information about sport kites... Lots of knowledgeable folks there, they can help you make sense of it all. ;)
@KitingRuben no you wont... a rev it a totaly different style of kite... but there are a lot more tricks for duals then for revs...

We only have one dual line tutorial at learnkitesDOTcom right now, but will start adding dozens more as we find a more ideal situation for regular access to good filming locations... Thanks for the support - we'll do what we can, as soon as we can. :)

damian tocev In the beginning of the video it states winds were 3 - 5 mph.
I'm not sure if it's a low wind kite or standard kite. If standard and the winds were in the above range, that's some very good control and flying.

You could probably fly that one with your feet and another one with your hands.
Good kites to get in the $100 - $200 range are Flying Wings. I have 4 of them and only the AcrobatX std could be considered heavy.

I recently developed a curiosity with stunt kiting and after watching this video I can finally say that Im convinced!: Stunt kiting kind of sucks.

Nope, sorry... Most of these tricks DO NOT work with a tail, because it would get tangled up, wrapped around the kite and lines. ;)
Stunt kites are analog video games.
