Last night I felt like being sad, so I decided to reread the Clockwork Princess epilogue. I then curled up in a ball and cried under my blanket for about half an hour.
The Infernal Devices owns my heart. It was the series that made me fall in love with the Shadowhunter world. It has the all-time best love triangle I’ve ever read and whenever I think about the friendship between Will and Jem I cry because it means so much to me. Ugh I love it with my whole heart💗
Yess. Exactly! I originally started reading TMI cos I've heard about Malec but after reading TID, I'm invested in the Shadowhunter world! And I also still think about the characters too. I've fallen in love with every one of them and get emotional that the series is finished. I know that TLH is out now but I still want to stay within TID for longer!

HI HI THREE QUICK THINGS 1. YES I did upload this video last night (I was super sleep deprived and forgot to make it private oops) but it's back now :) 2. The audio is lower than normal and for that I apologize. My camera's settings were incorrect but I really loved how this video came out despite the audio and didn't want to ruin it by refilming. So just make sure your audio is high as you can get it to your preference and my future videos shouldn't have this issue. 3. Yes I should have chosen Kierarn/Mark/Cristina as the love triangle but my own bias towards my theory of them being polyamorous played into it when planning this video. Oh well, it happens! @@jamescarstars8228 Of course it's not. The Wicked Powers is a sequel that happens only three years after meanwhile The Last Hours happen a lot of years after TID so the kids don't deal with the after of the TID villains but in TWP, Ty, Dru and Kit do.
I love when fetus 2014 tmi obsessed Emma shows up because it reminds me of finding Emma's channel and literally watching all her videos that were up at the time in the order in which they were uploaded because I was that in love with her channel.

For my English class two semesters ago, the overall topic we had to do was Villains and I chose Sebastian and I had SO MUCH FUN analyzing his character! We had to do a research paper about our villain and my thesis was what made Sebastian truly evil. I dug into child neglect, being raised without a maternal figure, his abusive relationship with Valentine, and his blood ties to Lilith. It was easy discussing a character I appreciate, yet since he is unknown to those who haven’t read Cassie’s books, i had to EXPLAIN so much of the lore and supporting characters that make an impact on Sebastian and IT WAS HARD. Thank goodness I got an A on it!
The shadow hunter chronicles are not allowed to end. By sheer force of will it will live on. Other fandoms did it. Doctor who stopped the final episode from being the series finale. SPN brought a character back from the dead after millions of tweets I feel like the shadow world could do it no problem 😂😂😂 lol honestly tho loved the video Emma!

I've read so many reviews who said that their favs series is TID and least fav is TDA BUT I love everything about TDA. The strong female characters, Ty, the whole forbidden love of Emma and Julian, Julian himself who is so unlike most male leads and just the perfect anti -hero. I love him, maybe as much as I love Jace.

lady midnight is a wonderful first book, but i think because for lady midnight you should read the other books first for more context, and i would pick clockwork angel
So excited about TDA November! Love the videos Emma (especially about Shadowhunters because we can see your love for the series) I’m probably one of the few people who don’t like Cristina/Mark/Kieran as a possible endgame not only because I ship Mark and Cristina, but I just don’t see them equally in love with each other! Instead Herongraystairs would’ve been really perfect! The love between the three of them was so beautiful and equal and that was really some wasted potential 😭😭😭

I kinda agree with you about Jace, I never thought that he has a bad personality or something...to me it was just like he always tried to hide his real character because he hoped that it would be better with regard to world and society he was living in. I think the threat of Mortmain and his automatons would've been a lot more easier to deal with if the Clave had actually listened to their shadowhunters (and fellow downworlders). Jace being an asshole is basically the poster child for "That was a plot point Karen". I loved watching him develop. But seriously, CC is one of the few authors who has consistently written what I consider a "perfect" ending for a series. Every time. She does it every single time. (Queen of Air & Darkness not withstanding.)
TMI will always be my favorite also i always saw Jace as a character similar to Barney Stinson from HIMYM and karen walker from Will and Grace they are all funny lovable assholes that are more complex than people think

Love the videos Emma (especially about Shadowhunters because we can see your love for the series) I’m probably one of the few people who don’t like Cristina/Mark/Kieran as a possible endgame not only because I ship Mark and Cristina, but I just don’t see them equally in love with each other! Instead Herongraystairs would’ve been really perfect! The love between the three of them was so beautiful and equal and that was really some wasted potential 😭😭😭

I think the threat of Mortmain and his automatons would've been a lot more easier to deal with if the Clave had actually listened to their shadowhunters (and fellow downworlders). But because they didn't, it was a bigger threat than necessary 😅

1. Who is the better main character?
-I love all three of them but I think I'm gonna go with Tessa
2. Who is the best Herondale?
-I'm really struggeling between Will and Jace here (I love Kit too tho) but I'll choose Jace here
3. Best love triangle?
-there's only one answer to this and that's Herongraystairs
4. Who is the best villain
-Jonathan, I just love him so much. Despite him being an horrible person, he just is such an amazing villain
5. Better army/threat
-I think I'm goning to say the dark army, for the same reasons Emma already said
6. Better first book?
-Clockwork Angel, it just is so freaking good (technically Lady midnight might be better reagrding writing and characters, just because Cassie gets better with ever single book, but I just prefer Clockwork Angel)
7. Favorite female supporting lead?
-I really love all three of them but Isabelle is just Queen
8. Better setting?
-I'm stuck between London and New York, cause within the books New York is really so special to me, but in general I just love England and especially London so much and it has always meant a lot to me. So half a point to both

10. Best epilogue?
I'm torn between Clockwork Princess and City of Havenly Fire, for the very same reason as Emma. But I think I'm going to say Cohf

Jace being an asshole is basically the poster child for "That was a plot point Karen". I loved watching him develop. But seriously, CC is one of the few authors who has consistently written what I consider a "perfect" ending for a series. Every time. She does it every single time. (Queen of Air & Darkness not withstanding.)
