Also, point to note is that, he sang all the songs together in one flow, and that too in his own voice and style. He didn't copy anyone. Upto some extent , I agree with you that Kumar Sanu 's voice resembles Kishore Kumar,but Shabbir Kumar 's voice is not at all similar to Kishore Kumar(his voice is similar to Mohammed Rafi).Kumar Sanu was the popular singer of 1990s and Shabbir Kumar was the popular singer of 1980s. Mukeshji's, Mannada's & Kishoreda songs were sung extremely well...We really miss Amit Kumar...What a talent..
Also, point to note is that, he sang all the songs together in one flow, and that too in his own voice and style. He didn't copy anyone. At the age of 65, singing live in his own natural voice, without any autotune, which the so called popular singers of nowadays use while performing live on stage. It's not an easy task. He deserved an standing ovation and a big round of applause.

Upto some extent , I agree with you that Kumar Sanu 's voice resembles Kishore Kumar,but Shabbir Kumar 's voice is not at all similar to Kishore Kumar(his voice is similar to Mohammed Rafi).Kumar Sanu was the popular singer of 1990s and Shabbir Kumar was the popular singer of 1980s. Kumar Sanu was a big fan of Kishore Kumar and Shabbir Kumar was a big fan of Mohammed Rafi. Both Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar were the greatest singers of all time and they had inspired many singers. Now during 1990s ,he sang many superhit and notable songs in the films like Hum,Narsimha,Mahasangram,Police Public, 100 days,Parampara, Baaghi,Sailaab,Afsana Pyar ka ,Swarg,Ghayal,Kishan Kanahaiya, Pyar ka karz,Yaad rakhegi duniya, Adharm,Vishwatma, Nischaiy, Jaanam,Khel, Kask,Kabhi haan kabhi na ,Imtihaan, Sangdil Sanam,Sapoot ,Judaai and many more.His songs were famous and hit regardless of whether the film was hit or critically acclaimed. In 1994 ,after the death of R D Burman ( with whom Amit Kumar had deep bonding and whom he considered as his mentor),he declined many singing offers and he left the Hindi film industry. So,Amit Kumar was an active male playback singer in Hindi films from 1974 to 1994 and he had sang in more than 500 films and for more than 50 different heroes.After leaving the film industry ,he started concentrating on live shows and concerts and he had performed all over the world in many foreign countries.He had also made many Hindi and Bengali music albums.The title songs of the famous TV serials like Chunauti ,Neev and Campus were sung by Amit Kumar.The Hindi theme songs of the famous cartoons like Ducktales and Bob the builder was also sung by him. Amit Kumar is one of the most respected singers and a big name in Bengali film industry and music industry. Amit Kumar is one of the most versatile singers of India.
