loved watching Dave Taylor play. He inspired a lot of young fowards and I've heard from more than a few old class & team mates say he's an absolute gentleman
I have managed some of the biggest pubs in Brisbane. When I was running a pub in Rockhampton I would see him occasionally. Still the nicest guy and and a stand up person. Top 5 I have ever dealt with
Weight got the better of him in the end when dave was at souths i caught up with him on Cronulla beach with his wife that week they were playing the sharks i said to him take it easy on the sharks please that is my Team he said wait and see also Dave loved Fishing was always out fishing good on him.
I love coal train..... He showed so much promise & had a lot of speed for a big dog. Like big G I when he went to the bunnies is when he started putting on weight, I think if he stayed in qld it may have been different. Still a Maroons great in my books
He was so good at his peak, one of the most naturally gifted NRL players ever. I feel like he was really mismanaged by coaches. They wanted to turn him into some big battering ram workhouse, but that wasn't him, he was a creative playmaking edge forward, a devastating one, and should have been allowed to play to his strengths. They're making the same mistake currently with David Fifita. I think it is bound to wear down their spirit constantly trying to force them into something they aren't.
Irish footy fan here, was at the roosters vs souths comeback game when Reynolds scored under the sticks in the last minute, still remember the run big Dave made in that try.
it was so good watching him okay football, defiantly a wrecking ball But i have met him a few times over these last couple years and he is definitely a arrogant person which is not needed
I think you need to do one on Ricky Stuart (as a coach) besides his one premiership with the Phil Gould built roosters he has done nothing but destroy clubs including the roosters. Yet a good coach like Brad Arthur gets sacked (he keeps his job)
saw him in the late 2000s at a servo on the sunny coast qld and he was the biggest human beside Willie Mason id ever seen in real life. (Willie was at the Stock Exchange in brisbane one time ordering a drink next to me - monstrous)
A couple of years ago I ran into David Argyle the Toronto Wolfpack owner in Bakersfield, CA. He told me the story about that trip to Portugal. Sadly, I got too wasted and forgot it. The moral of the story is he likes yayo.
if you think coal trains legs are big....NRL folklore is coal trains third leg was one of the biggest in the game...ever. don't know that firsthand...but you hear stuff lol.

Dave Taylor and T-Rex are 2 guys that had the talent to be the top forwards in the game.
And both came short
T-Rex won a GF, played multiple origins, tests, four nations.
No mention of what happened to him.
What a beast in his prime

man save was big ball of muscle and had speed he was a weapon at his peak
Kwee Landaaaaaaaaaaa
Dave played for Australia and Queensland ❤… can’t better that.😂😂❤
He had legs like tree trunks. A massive guy.
Still remember that grubber he made to scoring a try and it was that x factor play that only skilled half backs make.
Had a lot of plays like that, special highlight reel kinda player. Incredible skills.
loving these vids bro, keep it up
Thanks mate. I was both a bronco and a titan fan. For me growing up he was such a beast. Hope you’re doing well Coal Train.
Exciting player, love to watch him play.

GI was 107kg in Melbourne. He slimmed down at Souths actually.
As if Erin mutlan can talk she ruined the footy show and footy couldn't watch a game with her talking haha
And she always looked so bored whilst doing so.

I think the modern game would of suited him better on the edges
Dave Taylor was one of the most natural gifted players who had a work rate or weight problems throughout his whole career said by coaches

He had big minutes and big impact for the CQ Capras in 2018 + 2019
This guy had all the skills. Loved watching him play!

Seemed like a really nice fella. Was a great player and had very high standards heaped on him. I thought he had a great career
Next video should be What happend to Tony 'T-Rex' Williams? Was a beast in his Prime
So, what happened to Dave Taylor? This is just a summary of his career
Showed glimpses of brilliance

Also should have posted that try assist for Canberra in golden point
You forgot to answer the question you asked! What happened to Dave Taylor? Where is he now?
A couple of years ago I ran into David Argyle the Toronto Wolfpack owner in Bakersfield, CA. He told me the story about that trip to Portugal. Sadly, I got too wasted and forgot it. The moral of the story is he likes yayo.
Damn forgot about this guy. He had a good run for a huge bloke
Nice work.
Unfortunately Dave only had muscle between his ears and not grey matter.
could you do more positive ones?
So what happened to Dave Taylor??
One of the best halfbacks of his era 😂
He had all the talent in the world. He could’ve been a 5/8
if you think coal trains legs are big....NRL folklore is coal trains third leg was one of the biggest in the game...ever. don't know that firsthand...but you hear stuff lol.
He kicked a 20/10 in a school game for st Brendan’s ! Freak at everything !
Dave Taylor, strong like crane smart like tractor 😅
Got hit with a chest wire makes you gain weight Arthur got it he got it I've been giving it too also hit my head I wonder how his head is
Always good for at least one knock-on per game
He was a charging tank just imagine if he had that raging bull mentality 😱💪💯
Saw him at hombush maccas in 2011 after the game bloke demolished 3 big macs and 30 nuggets😂😂😂
Looking like grizzly Adams whos wandered into the wilderness
He ate too many pies
Went from the Coal Train... to the Fat Controller.
The coke train
Typical Queenslander. Became a drunk cane toad
Coal trains grubber kicks
Erin Molan ruined the footy show
All these footy player live the alpha footy life for 10 years then plummet like sore losers
What are you talking about? Dumbest comment on the internet. Well done goose.
Dave Taylor is a warrior, Erin Moylan isn’t!
Was he deep frying the cocaine?
His legs are like tree trunks
Could a should a would a didn't.
Who cares?
