A party is held on a cruise ship and the fighters gather to relax before the final round. However, the organizer "R" has set a trap for them. Meanwhile, Kyo and his friends sneak out of the tournament venue and bear witness to the power of the black crystal.

@@IrishKyokushin Well Ryo was a rip off of Ryu (Hadouken and Shoryuken rip off moves, style of Gi and all that?) So I'm not too upset by the clowning here, besides he definitely had it better than poor Garcia.
@@boxtank5288 The authors of Ryu (Nishiyama and Matsumoto) who departed from Capcom for SNK, created Ryo because they had not Ryu's rights anymore, so, no need to clown him - he is not a common rip off.
They turned Ryo into Dan from Street Fighter.
Ironically, Dan is a parody version of Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia

iam exited to see Goenitz kicking Kyo's ass thus making him deciding to train and polish his fighting style , the serie is actually improving in terms of design and episode quality, hope it wont cease and finish at least the orochi arc 'also we need an Anime version of Kof after this SNK '

I'm kind of disappointed on Ryo's focus scene in this episode. It could've been his time to shine.

and Ryo isn't popular, so you hardly see people upset over this. If this were a more popular character such as Terry and Iori many people would be butthurt. But going with the spoilers Iori is going to get the Ryo treatment too not spoiling.

They have established who won before since the very first FF game. Gotta read the team stories, in XIII Chizuru congratulates Benimaru on his win in XI, Benimaru says that Ash's Team left so they won by default.
Info isn't made up, just hard to find. Light novels aren't translated fully so there's a lot that's left out, Team stories you gotta look up and read.

Sure was nice of Kyo and the Psycho Soldiers to warn everyone else that something suspicious was going on. But I guess if they had, there would be no Black Crystal subplot and this would have been over more quickly.

Guys, since it's a anime, i believe the Haoh Shoko Ken would take as long as Athena and Kensou super moves in episode 11. Ryo would inhale too much gas and collapse, stopping the formation of the attack

loafhero Kensou wasn't even able to perform his super move due to how long it takes and Terry took advantage of that. The Haoh Shoko Ken is a very powerful move and i believe it would take as much time as did Kensou super move. Either Ryo would collapse or the guards would arrive and knock him out while he prepared the move

The soundtrack during fight scenes really needs more oomph and power. Those scenes aren't having as much impact as they could.

Late reply but anyway, seeing ass how they're pacing this towards the Orochi saga for Season 2.
K-Dash will most likely not even appear next season as well. He'll be the protagonist of Season 3 which should ideally be the NESTS saga if Season 2 adapts the entirety the Orochi saga.

I feel like a broken record but they really made team Art of Fighting a joke, Ryo is a bumbling buffoon that even Yuri intimidates (they could've gone the route of Ryo being proud of how far she's come with his initial hostility being he fears for her safety ever since she was kidnapped by Mr. Big) and Robert is just comic relief with Benimaru at this point. I had hope when Ryo recognised the gas and was the last one standing that he'd do a Haoh Shoukou Ken a wall but alas.
Kim's in character with his Korean team which is fun to see and we seem to be getting Chang and Choi next episode which is great. Also, the Psycho Soldiers are getting a lot of screen time which is surprising but welcome. Kyo knowing about the crystal subplot feels fast and MAture appears to have a more intimate relationship with Rugal which is an interesting choice. Kyo is still feeling a bit out of character with how he treats Chin but still more in character than Benimaru and AoF atm so it's fine. Hopefully next episode will have more positives with the fight.
