I loved how you seamlessly transitioned from the pixel art sections to gameplay to in-game art to fucking _real life????_ I adore this, so so much. If you told me the same person made this and your first edit, I wouldn't believe you. Incredible work.

Noting all the details I found because this video is so awesome^^: 0:33 - First of all, adore that lil spin jump animation! 0:38 - "So, you fell down, burned & bruised, lost all sense of just who you are" Love how these lyrics call back to what Eight's been through! Especially with that last part referencing Eight's memory loss. 0:45 - "knowing how close you are to touching the sun, the sky" Could be possibly referring to how Eight was so close to reaching the "promised land" in octo expansion. 0:50 - TarTar being hidden behind deadfish :0 Maybe hinting at how he forced Acht to make music for him? 0:59 - "Losing grip of what little you still have" This could be referring to how Acht lost a part of themselves due to sanitation or Eight's memory being lost and them trying to hold on to the vague memories they still have. 1:01 - I'm a huge sucker for when lyrics include the moon & stars in them! 1:13 - I really wanna say something about these lyrics, but think of anything right now! :( Still beautiful tho!! 1:28 - me when the song has the title in the lyrics: 2:10 - Once again, I'm a sucker for lyrics that use the moon & stars!! 2:21 - Could be referencing Eight's dreams of living on the surface? 2:22 - When the sanitized octo trooper & the parallel canon appeared, it got me thinking that they could possibly represent Eight's fears. Might be a stretch tho^^; 2:28 - Could be referencing Eight's multiple attempts to climb the spire of order :0 2:52 - This isn't related to the lyrics, but I always love this part of onward! Especially with Marina's vocals
@@GijsR15 thanks! i was inspired by side order's rogue lite gameplay formula when writing these lyrics and wanted to convey that feeling of trying over and over again to succeed!
