RECIPE
Baked Asian Sticky Wings
Ingredients for the Wings
500g Chicken Wings
2 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Smoked Paprika or Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
Method:
Pre Heat the oven to 180C/ 355F
Mix all the ingredients together
Line all the wings on a baking rack or a baking tray lined with foil or parchment paper
Cook the wings for 40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy while turning them over every 15 minutes
Ingredients for the Asian Sticky Sauce
4 cloves Garlic, chopped
1 inch Ginger, chopped
2 tsp Hoisin Sauce
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce or any Hot Sauce
2 tbsp Rice Vinegar or White Vinegar
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Kithul Treacle or Honey
Sesame Oil
White or Black Sesame Seeds and chopped Green Spring Onions for garnishing
Method:
Heat up Sesame Oil and fry the Garlic and Ginger
Mix in all the sauces
Let it simmer down and reduce by half
When thick bubbles form and the consistency gets sticky and thick switch off the stove
Add the sauce over to the baked chicken wings and toss well
Garnish with Sesame Seeds and Green Spring Onions
Done!
Serve as an appetizer at your next party! 🎉🤤
